About this property

The apartment is located in the pedestrian area and in the immediate vicinity of the typical fruit, vegetable and fish market. During the day the numerous shops invite to a stroll and in the evening you can choose one of the many typical restaurants for a cozy dinner. A recent restoration has brought to light both parts of the old stone walls and the beautiful wooden beams dating from the beginning of the last century.
It is located in the 3rd Floor with lift and consists of a bedroom with a balcony overlooking the dome of a church, a bathroom with shower and a large dining and living area with a balcony overlooking the pedestrian street with its restaurants. Due to its extremely central location, it is a 5-minute walk to the quay wall, from where the boats leave for Lerici, Portovenere, Palmaria and 5 Terre. Also to the train station, from where the trains leave for the 5 Terre, Pisa, Genoa, etc. are about 5 minutes walk.

Fantastic place!

We have stayed a million places on our family adventures. I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of the most beautiful, most comfortable, and most enjoyable to date. We were floored with the style and taste of decor, level of attention to detail, and the location. Can't wait to come back. Martina met us at the door and welcomed us to her beautiful apartment. She gave us a tour of her place, recommended boat tours (thank you!), restaurants, things to do, etc. The space is absolutely clean, the kitchen well stocked with everything you need (one of the best we've been to!). Comfy bed, thoughtful touches, quiet neighborhood. Location was superb - 3 minutes walking distance to local market with lots of fresh produce, lots of restaurants and café, shopping. We felt very much at home at Martina's place. THANK YOU! We'll be back!

Perfect home base for Cinque Terre vacation

The apartment was exactly as pictured, very clean and well appointed in a great location in La Spezia. Martina was wonderful to communicate with and helpful with suggestions of where to go. It was less than a 15 minute walk to the train station, which is convenient to major cities and the quick ride to the Cinque Terre towns. We had a wonderful trip!

Exceeding our Expectations

This rental is the most well kept property we have ever stayed at. The owners take such great pride in their condo. They provided us with snacks, bottle of wine & great advice. Giorgio was there to greet us, gave us a great restaurant suggestion (Trattoria Bellavista ask for Claudia). He also suggested a visit to Porto Venere at sunset, which was stunning. This rental was clean, well appointed, awesome location & view. Would definitely stay again. Cannot go wrong. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment in ideal location

We can’t describe how beautiful and spacious this renovated 150 year old home was. It had all of the modern touches guests expect, and yet retained character and charm with exposed ceiling beams and original stonework. We really enjoyed having wine and appetizers each night on the balcony overlooking the street. The hosts were truly special and communicated with us before and throughout our stay. Giolio and Martina went out of their way to make us feel at home. They provided enough food and supplies (including some vino) for us the day we arrived to avoid us having to run to the grocery. They also had an array of helpful maps of the area, parking tips for our car, and restaurant recommendations. The apartment is ideally located just a short walk to the marina, buses, and train station. There is an elevator to help get you and your luggage to the 4th floor which was much appreciated. I would also highly recommend the restaurant Vicolo intherno next door. The food was outstanding for lunch and dinner, and the owner, Patricia, made us feel welcome and had excellent recommendations for us.
