About this property

For the small and large family: Charming town house with 2 modern apartments

Picturesquely located in the well-known holiday resort of Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle, this charming town house offers the ideal starting point for boat and bike tours, hikes and excursions in the romantic Moselle region. In less than 5 minutes you can walk to the river bank and in the pedestrian zone with many shops, cafes and restaurants.

Our holiday idyll at the foot of a steep vineyard so typical of the region is divided into two modern apartments including 2 kitchenettes and is perfect for larger families or groups of up to 8 people. In addition to 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (+ 1 toilet), the house has a fitness room, an atrium courtyard, a roof terrace with access to the small garden directly at the vineyard and with a view of the city towards the Moselle.

As part of extensive renovation measures, the property was put into a new building similar condition two years ago, without losing its charm.

*** ATTENTION: from 21. January 2019 will see extensive road construction work begin on Schottstrasse. The expansion will be carried out on the market starting in four sections, with our vacation property in the 1st Construction phase is located. The work in the 1st Section are expected to be completed by April 2019. During this construction phase, it is unfortunately not possible to drive to the house by car. An attempt is made to preserve the sidewalks. A dedicated alternative parking lot is available to our guests on the banks of the Moselle.

My review

The house could not be situated better right in the heart of the town. The area is excellent for motorcycle touring, the roads in the surrounding area are excellent. During our stay the road was still under renovation, which was an inconvenience, the noise from the work was intrusive, however I'm sure once this is complete the property would be perfect. Communication with Astrid was very good. And we were pre warned that the works may overrun into our stay.

Traben Trarbach Family Vacation

Eight family members stayed here for 6 nights. It was nice that we could all stay together. The property manager was good at answering all of my questions. Our mom (82), stayed on the 1st floor. This was nice for her because she only had 1 set of stairs to go up. She had a bed area, small kitchen & bathroom. Our complaint was the cleanliness. The trash cans were full when we arrived in the basement and there was wet laundry in the dryer. There were many spiders and spider webs. There was food left in the cabinet from the renters before us (where the pots & pans were). And there were crumbs in the top bunk bed. The property manager did send out the care taker but she only asked us questions and put the dryer on.

Es gab keine Heizung in den 3 Etagen des Hauses. Nur Radiatioren ( 7 Rippen ) Außerdem funktionierte keiner der 3 Fernseher. Es gab kein heisses Wasser in der oberen Wohnung.Schimmel im Kühlschrank bzw. Gefrierfach.Der Mülleimer war innen dreckig. Die Außenjalousien sind defekt. Der Briefkasten quillt über.Wir haben eine Nacht dort übernachtet in Wintersachen. Es war einfach zu KALT im Haus !!!!Charmant und modern ist dort garnichts.Nach Rücksprache mit Fewo und der Vermieterin wurde uns ein Teil des Geldes erstattet.Im Winter kann meines Erachtens dieses Haus nicht vermietet werden.Es liegt zentral zur Mosel ..ist aber kein Weingut

Einfach, aber zweckmäßig, recht gräumig für drei Personen. Bäder sind ziemlich neu und schön, Fenster und Rollos sind etwas überholungsbedürftig.Die für die Gegend typischen engen und steilen Treppen sind für den Transport großer Koffer in den 3. Prachtige Ligging

Wij vonden de plek van het appartement geweldig. Klein stukje lopen en je bent in het stadje Trarbach en aan de andere kant van de brug die over de moezel loopt, Traben. Het appartement viel ons tegen om met vier volwassenen daar te verkeren op de bovenste verdieping, elke keer 3 trappen naar boven en een klein plaatsje om buiten te zitten.

Wanderurlaub mit Freunden

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft ist definitiv empfehlenswert. Das Objekt hält was es verspricht. Jeder der mitgereisten war überaus zufrieden. Die Nähe zu Gaststätten als auch den Wanderrouten hat perfekt zu unseren Plänen gepasst. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war einwandfrei. Wir als Gruppe können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und würden das Haus auch immer wieder so buchen.

Wunderschöne Altstadtwohnung

Die Wohnung liegt direkt im Zentrum, von dort konnte man zu Fuß alles sehr gut erreichen! Sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Einziges Manko, auf einer Etage musste man durch 2 Schlafzimmer um ins Bad zu gelangen. Trotzdem würden wir die Unterkunft gerne nochmal buchen, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Rückblick

Leider roch es etwas muffig, als wir das Haus betraten. Die Stufen in die einzelen Etagen sind sehr steil und eng. Auf der Terrasse müsste mal dieTischdecke erneuert werden. Ansonsten war die Wohnung sauber und für unseren Urlaub zweckmässig, da wir sehr viel unterwegs waren. Wir haben uns eigentlich nur zum schlafen und frühstücken dort aufgehalten.

Schöne Wohnung

Die Ferienwohnung war schön. Es war alles vorhanden und auch sehr sauber. Im Stadtteil Traben ist nicht ganz so viel los, aber bis nach Trarbach sind es auch nur ein paar Gehminuten. Wir waren vollkommen zufrieden.

Das Objekt war gut. Hier kann man bequem mit bis zu 8 Personen wohnen. Es war alles sehrsauber und, was man braucht, vorhanden. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war super. Wenn es Fragen gab, wurden diese schnell geklärt.

Viel Platz für die Familie

der älteste Sohn konnte die Maisonetten Wohnung im 1. OG beziehen, die beiden anderen waren im 2. OG untergebracht und wir hatten dann am meisten Stufen und am wenigsten Platz im Dachgeschoss. War jedoch genauso beschrieben und deshalb OK. Durch das schöne Wetter konnten wir gut die Dachterrasse nutzen, so dass der Esstisch gut als Ablage für Küche genutzt werden konnte und es dann doch entspannt war. Drei Smart-TVs, bestes WLAN, 2 Duschen und 3 Toiletten garantieren das die Kinder bestens gelaunt sind und dass es keinen Engpass gibt. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Haus war gut ausgestattet. Durch die zentrale Lage konnte man schnell die Mosel und Weinberge erreichen. Für die Treppen war ein wenig Übung notwendig ;-) Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Urlaub und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis optimal.
