This townhome is located in a peaceful neighborhood steps from the sand, restaurants, markets, cafes and shops. On this quaint street, enjoy a spacious unit that is flooded with natural light and peekaboo views of the ocean from the balcony. Enjoy a lazy day sunbathing watching the local surfers, get active with a volleyball game or bike/skate/walk/run down the famous Strand path adjacent to the ocean. Perfect for a relaxing getaway or somewhere to stay while traveling for work! This unit accommodates 8 people comfortably (2 bedrooms with queen beds in each, one queen pull out sofa bed and two queen air mattresses available).

South Bay Beach Cities (Manhattan, Hermosa, Redondo, El Segundo, Playa Del Rey) are upscale and easy-going beach communities. They're definitely a "bubble", separated enough from the bustle of LA that they feel like a true escape. This unit is convenient to all the LA beaches, LAX, Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Downtown LA. It is a short drive from Disneyland, Universal Studios, and other attractions in Southern CA or you can easily hop on the coast to visit other popular California landmarks!

DISTANCES:

-Half block from the famous Strand Beach Path. The Strand" starts at Will Rogers State Beach and travels through all of the South Bay beach communities and 2 harbors: Marina del Rey and King Harbor at Redondo Beach.
-Close Proximity to Manhattan and Hermosa Beach Pier
-11 miles from Santa Monica Pier
-10 minute drive (5 miles) to/from LAX !
-25 miles to Disneyland
-Easy .3 to .5 mile walk to local convenience markets and liquor stores to grab quick snacks, drinks and toiletries.
-Within 1 to 3 miles, there are several grocery stores: Ralphs, Vons, Gelsons, Bristol Farms, Whole Foods and Trader Joes.

If you need car transportation, I recommend using LYFT or UBER (it is far better value than a regular taxi). It is very easy to download the app on your smart phone and you can start using it instantly.

OTHER DETAILS:

- There is no AC, but there is central heat. You can open windows for cool ocean breeze or use floor fans if needed.
- Free Netflix Streaming Services on TV
- On left side of garage, there is everything you need to go down to the beach for the day! Beach chairs (6 of different sizes), 2 umbrellas, a beach tent and boogie board.
-Beach towels in guest room closet along with extra bath towels.
-1 pet under 25 lbs allowed per stay for a small fee.
-The left side of the garage is yours (can fit two parked tandem if they are compact) plus another in the driveway (UP to 3 SPOTS!)
-Private Washer and Dryer in garage.
-Linens and towels are provided as well as toiletries and cleaning supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, dish soap, sponges, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner).
- A starter kit of toilet paper and paper towels is provided.
- All kitchen supplies to cook and eat/drink from home! (pots, skillets, Dutch oven, sauté pan, baking pans, cooking utensils, strainer, measuring cups and spoons, Tupperware and storage containers, can opener, plates, bowls, cups, stemless wine glasses, cutting boards, oven mitts, wine opener, blender, 2 way coffee machine- single or full cup)
-Hair dryer available
-Iron and board available
-Vacuum available
-No smoking anywhere on property.
