Lazy Bear was a fantastic stay!! The kids and husbands really enjoyed the arcade while the wives got to enjoy some wine and the hot tub lol. Plenty of room for our family and easy to access. Close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. Would definitely be interested in staying again!

Inside the home was very clean and tidy other than the floors feeling sticky. Beds were very comfortable. Air hockey table did not work which was disappointing and the first night we didnt get to use the hot tub because it was being repaired. The other night only used the hot tub for a short time because half the jets did not work. Outside was covered in spiderwebs so you had to clean them to sit in the chairs or use the balcody. Pretty close to town and not to hard to get to. Our family of 10 had a great time other than those few issues. It was a beautiful cabin and the kids loved the theater set-up and games. There was no mountain view like i had hoped but still had a view of the fall leaves.
The cabin was the perfect size and the game room was amazing! Water was not the best as the hot water ran out very very fast. The floors in the cabin were not clean and our grandkids socks were filthy. Other than that we had a great time! Note!! Lock your car doors as there was a bear there daily and actually opened two of our vehicles and got into all of our stuff.
My family and I really enjoyed the lazy bear cabin my kids especially loved the game room!!
The cabin was very nice it could have been cleaned more the dusting mostly linens were clean beds were very comfortable overall it was very nice my family and I will surely return!!!
We had a very pleasurable experience with this rental. The kids and adults loved the arcade and theater. Management was very prompt and attentive. They do care about their guests and this is something that is greatly appreciated!
We absolutely loved our cabin. We were sad to leave. The driveway and parking was a bit undesirable, but the cabin was amazing with lots of amenities and fun. We will book again.
Cabin is perfect for family with pre-teen and teenagers. Loved all the games and spacious rooms. Need to bring additional linens/blankets for pullout beds, towels, and toiletries. We had a great time and would book it again! Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but cabin has enough to do just to stay there all weekend!
If you stay here, especially with kids- BE AWARE because there are 2 copperheads that live in a hole of the driveway. I messaged the host on June 21st in case she wasn’t aware, and still to this day (July 15th) I have not received a reply back. Also this cabin is FAR from everything. Do not believe that it is close to Tanger Outlet, Hatfield & McCoy, etc. because it is not! Once you book and are sent the address for the actual cabin you realize how far it is, and you can’t cancel unless you want to lose what you already paid to book it. The hot water in the showers on the main and upper level does not even last 5 minutes, so I hope you enjoy cold showers! The games were fun and entertaining for our kids. I attached photos of where the copperheads are located. When I took the photos we only noticed 1, it wasn’t until we were packing to leave that we realized there are actually 2 of them.

Nice cabin for the price
This cabin was spacious with plenty for the kids to do. Most of the games worked except for 1 of them. The cabin was pretty clean, but the floors were dirty. Had to wear shoes the entire time. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans.
The WiFi was very spotty. Constantly going in and out and dropping calls. The climb up the mointain was steep and narrow. Driveway to the cabin was super steep. Glad it didn't snow otherwise we might not have made it. All in all it was a nice cabin and we enjoyed our Christmas vacation there.
Cabin was not clean, had to call and ask for clean sheets, we replaced all sheets on all beds ourselves, we had to sweep floors, and wash all dishes we needed to use, as there was rat poop in cabinets and drawers.
When girl delivered the clean sheets, he comment for the rat poop was do you want me to put the dishes in the dishwasher for you... Well not the response you would expect for the price paying to stay...

Maintenance needed -- challenging drive !
The cabin was large and very comfortable. The game room, pool table and theater was great for all the family. The property does need some maintenance. The screens on the porches are entirely missing or torn. One of the screen doors was missing the screen on the entire bottom of the door. Some electrical outlets are loose or have cracked covers. These are all minor issues that could be easily and quickly resolved. Also, if you are a flatlander and not accustomed to driving on narrow mountain roads it is a challenging drive to get to the cabin.
The only issues we had were very quickly fixed and had immediate replies. Angie & maintenance were beyond helpful!
Some small cleaning missed that could have been done but nothing to fuss over , we got it cleaned up very quickly .
The games & theater were a hit!
Loved all the screened in porches.
Our kids thought the theater chairs were the place to sleep lol!
The beds were comfortable all but the pull out couches were not great for adults .
The bunk beds are large enough size
For multiple kiddos if you have a large family like us!
Large amount of appliances and utensils in the kitchen & lots of tables and seating available !
The drive up was not horrible at all. We were blessed with good weather!
I could go on about how much we loved out stay & owners but overall ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We cannot wait for our next visit with Fun zone !

Enjoyed but with a bit of disappointments
Several things were disappointing: Fireplace did not work; refrigerator was not clean when we arrived. Windows had fingerprints all over them: bathroom mirrors were not clean; outside garbage bin was not emptied from previous guest, called about it … maintenance only took half of the garbage … therefore, we could not place all of our garbage it … placed garbage on porch … bears invaded the screened in porch and spread garbage all over; back doors were unlocked when arrived; large holes in blankets in bedrooms; windows would not fully close so cold came in from outside; cigarette butts full in outdoor buckets not emptied; outdoor porch light did not work; ice maker did not work .. called maintenance… they never came to fix.

I want to say that if we had anyplace else to take our group of 6 adults and 3 children at the last minute, we would have. As it stood, we had to clean up the exterior "pulling weeds out of the stairs, porch and around the front entrance" use our camping blankets to cover gaping holes on the benches on each side of the porch. and swipe trash, cobwebs and other debris from the balconies, retape the hot tub wall as best we could before our family and friends arrived to keep from being so embarrassed! The cabin was okay on the inside; the outside was a "hot mess"! Weeds overtook the stairs cobwebs, crooked outside light fixtures with no bulbs! rotten wood on the benches flanking the porch, 3–5-inch large spider's webs in all the windows between the screens and the window. A panel was separated from the wall of the hot tub. Stinking trash in the trash container that was from a previous guest. Trash strewn down the hill where there was "3" bears that stayed around our cabin making it impossible to feel safe when we entered or exited the cabin. Weeds completely overtaking the whole exterior of the cabin. The rooms had an old stale smell. The fireplace was on the whole time in the main room and the kitchen. The refrigerator was filthy. Something was stinking in the sink drain that permeated the kitchen. The shower water ran cold after 2 minutes or less or it is warming up. The pool table and other games on that level are in poor condition deep clean required.

Sweet 16 birthday trip
My husband three girls and two friends of my daughters came on the trip it was nice to be able to know we could check in early it was a 45 minute drive from where we live and took over and hour and half because the directions were just not right at all. We get there get unpacked and started walking around the place and within five minutes our feet were black because the floors had been swept or mopped maybe ever there was so much grim on floors, tables and counters that wiping it down with wash cloth the clothes wouldn’t even slide around the table it just stuck to it then I swept an area of the floor because I couldn’t stand walking on it because of how much dirt dust and other particles but after a little bit I figured I was on a celebration trip I wasn’t going to clean up the mess that the person responsible for cleaning should have done. There were only half rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom so I was glad I brought some with and only one garbage bag that was provided. But other then the place being not cleaned well and a bit outdated we had a good time

Lazybear Cabin Problems I need more room for my review
We were so excited to be taking a family vacation. Our check in was at 4:00. We found the screened in porch full of trash. We called the owner an were told the cleaning crew had just gotten there. They arrived at 4:00. They asked us to leave while they cleaned. We left for 2 hours. Next we had no TV. The person they sent was the cleaning person. She had no idea. Three or four days later another staff and the Direct TV man came. She stated it was the first time she heard there was a problem. He went downstairs and the cords were not plugged into the box. We did not touch any wires. One of the games were not working. They told us to wiggle the wire and someone would come put a new wire on it. That never happened. Next we had green water in the hot tub.
We never leave bad reviews and this cabin warrants one because after reading the other reviews it was too late for us. Upon pulling up to the cabin we see the screen door and screen decks are all torn and flapping in the wind and dirt, leaves, cigarette buckets and butts, animal droppings have filled the porches where the hot tub and relaxing seating should be. Went on in to the cabin and it smelled dinging and wet but once again it is a cabin in the mountains and figured it was just the way it was and once we turned the AC off 80 and got some humidity out of the house it was better the second day of our 3 days. TVs and other electronics were hit and miss with them being just so outdated that they didn’t want to work and some of the outlets with lamps tied to them do not work either. End of day one the kids socked and bare feet were literally black from the dirt on the floors so we learned the other lesson is never take your shoes off. There were mice obviously all over the cabin as we saw a couple and then the droppings in the basement was evident. To top it all off at 10:30-11:00 on our second night the entire group was done showering and that’s when we noticed that the drain lines for the shower and/or toilet leaked out if the upstairs bathroom and was dripping below in the 1st floor hall and bedroom and then found it’s way on down to the basement. After looking at that and cleaning that up the signs are there that it has been happening for a while. Owners don’t care!!
The pictures online, and the price tag for the property did not accurately represent the current state of the cabin. This cabin was filthy, inside and out, and in major need of a very deep cleaning. The pots and pans in the kitchen were atrocious, so we had to purchase our own to cook with. We didn’t feel comfortable eating off anything in the kitchen after unloading the dishwasher and seeing the state of the dishes, broken/chipped glasses, and pans with burnt on food still on them. The microwave handle was broken, and the stove/oven was filthy. The refrigerator also needed to be wiped out and cleaned. The master bathroom shower still had the prior guest’s hair on the tile walls of the shower and in the tub. There was also trash inside the tub from a shampoo/lotion bottle. All the screens on every “screened-in porch” were ripped and/or missing and the cigarette buckets on those porches were full and smelled so bad every time you walked by one. The hot tub jets only worked on one of the seats, the pool table pockets were all torn and missing so anytime you made your shot, the pool ball would hit the floor. The theater screen picture was blurry and delayed so we also didn’t use this feature. The ping pong table had no balls, and the air hockey table had no puck. We had a mouse run down the hallway and insect traps in the kitchen. I can assure you that we would NEVER stay again! Completely filthy! Angie was great and responsive - that's the only positive! DON'T waste your money!
