Welcome to the river!

Nestled by the water's edge of the lower Little Missouri river, River Hollow sits on a semi-private 5 acre lot.

Approximately 40 feet from the river bank nature lovers can let their worries rush away with the current of the river.

The cabin is equipped for 8 guests.
A unique floorplan allows your group to be together while offering a space for those that like privacy.

1. RIVER GENERATION
The river sits below Narrows Dam. Water levels are subject to change at any time, making it perfect for all kinds of activities. We can not predict water levels. A schedule can be found online.

2. CONVECTION OVEN
Smaller than a full size oven. It will not accommodate more than one dish at a time.
A 6 burner gas stovetop, outdoor gas grill, microwave, crockpot, and toaster for cooking needs are provided.
If you have any questions please let us know.

3. PIKE COUNTY IS DRY!
If your group drinks adult beverages you will need to bring them with you.
Some restaurants are now serving.

4. WIFI
We have the best wifi available, it can still be slow or go out unexpectedly. If you have issues please sign out, wait a while and try again. We are happy to help troubleshoot and help if we can.

5.DECOR
Bed quilts, blankets, pillows etc. get washed after guests therefore, they will not always match what is pictured in the listing. There may be a different color or pattern. We change out bed linens etc. to fit the season.
Cushion color for outdoor sofa may change as needed for cleaning.

6. DELIVERY
Any item to the lodge for rental use is strictly prohibited!
We will not be responsible for getting ANY rented item back to the renter!
This includes but is not limited to: boats, floats, baby items (cribs, highchairs ect.), digging or fishing items.
FOOD MAY BE DELIVERED ONLY

7.MAINTENANCE
We do our best to have maintenance done when guests are not on the property.
Some maintenance is done on a rotating schedule not allowing us to decide when it takes place.
We do our best to inform our guests beforehand, or have it rescheduled if possible.
We do not always know when they are coming.
For example: Gas delivery, mowing, outdoor pest control, any emergency home repairs, ect.

8.NATURE AND CRITTERS
You are in nature by the water. Please expect to see critters of all kinds.

9. WE DO NOT HAVE A WATER PARK ON THE PROPERTY!
We are near Diamonds Springs Water Park.

Wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for our stay!! Lots of space, everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of outdoor seating, and easy access to the river. Not to mention, everything is beautiful and homey. We had a very relaxing time! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

We loved the cabin. We really enjoyed being near the river. We watched deer drink and a bald eagle fly above the river. It was a perfect home base for six friends to relax, fish, diamond hunt, play games, hang out in the hot tub and cook meals. The cabin had everything we needed including some spices, cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. We all talked about coming back and enjoying another long weekend next year.

Everything was perfect for our joint family vacation! Everything was thought of. Games, laundry detergent, trash bags, first aid kit, s'mores sticks, water toys, bug spray..even food for the cat! Great Vacation Home

Beautiful property surrounded by trees right on the river. Great getaway to recharge, enjoy nature and enjoy time with family. We took our three young children and both sides of grandparents.

Very relaxing, comfortable lodge. It was well supplied. We could have stayed longer. Would stay again for sure. Loved seeing the wildlife. Neighboring town was nice. Highly recommend Teligna's and Feed Bin for food! River is a sweet cat, but a little obnoxious if not fed. We picked up some food and he was a happy kitty.

River, is a neighborhood cat that was dumped as a baby, he has a story behind him. He does not actually belong to us. Many of us in the area have been actively searching for a home for him so he is no longer obnoxious to our guests. He should not be around much longer. We would absolutely love to have you back! Absolutely fabulous place to stay! We ended up cancelling other activities just to stay in this tranquil, peaceful environment. The gates at the dam opened nightly, turning the river into the most peaceful water feature we've ever experienced. We saw deer, river otters, turtles, and a large variety of birds including a juvenile bald eagle. A very private and comfortable stay. And the hosts thought of everything a guest may need. If a higher rating was offered by VRBO, we certainly would have chosen it. 100% recommend!!
