This house is located in the Ore Mountains, just 10 km from the German border, in a beautiful environment with many recreational possibilities. The house is suitable, with its two living rooms and four bedrooms, for two friendly families, each with four persons. In the sunny garden, behind the house, children can enjoy the inflatable children pool. There is also a shady spot under a 150-year-old tree here. Shops for daily needs are situated 500 meters away. In the area there are 2 parking spaces.

On the ground floor there is a spacious kitchen which contains a large dining table and a nice stove with oven. The new kitchen is also equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, watercooker and combination microwave. The large bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the smaller bedroom has a bunk bed. In addition to the two bedrooms there is a bathroom with shower and toilet. From the laundry room you can access the garden. Upstairs there is an inviting living room. The large bedroom is furnished with a double bed. There are two smaller bedrooms which are only accessible through the larger bedroom. The totally renovated luxurious bathroom has a tub, separate shower and toilet. There is also an extra room where kids can play. It has a table football game, snooker table, darts, and toys for the children, plus a satellite TV, DVD player and many board games. In addition, there is: a washing machine and dryer, winding drawers, childbed, highchair and playpen. The house has central heating.

In the summer the temperature here is often higher than in the Netherlands. Thanks to the wooded mountain landscape with its meadows and lakes there are many opportunities to enjoy nature. Sports are also much loved here. Hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers can make use of the well-marked trails. If you would like to go swimming, there are sufficient possibilities: about 10 km away there is a spa lake with games and a lawn. A little further away there is a water park and a natural pool with a great slide, lawn, sanitation facilities and a variety of water sports. In the area you can also go windsurfing, horseback riding or play tennis and there are even several surprisingly beautiful golf courses. For culture lovers: in the vicinity you will find some beautiful cities with museums, churches and historic buildings. 30 km away there is Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad), nestled beautifully among the hills. This town is known for its numerous resorts and famous film festival. Of course you don't want to miss Prague, arguably one of Europe's most impressive cities. Even a visit to Terezin (Theresienstadt), a former concentration camp, is worthwhile. Places in the immediate vicinity include: Marianske Lazne, the largest garden city in the world and the charming resort of Bohemia, Františkovy Lázně, Jachymov, Loket and Cheb. In the accommodation you will find an information book with detailed information about numerous activities in the area such as an animal park, marsh and nature conservation areas, cable car, beer brewery and several museums.

In the area there are 2 parking spaces. In the winter period (from November) winter tires are necessary. Outside the built-up areas driving with headlights on is mandatory. Snow chains are only allowed when the street are covered by snow.

The popularity of the Czech Republic as a winter sports destination increases year by year, thanks to a variety of facilities and the short distance from Western Europe. The ski resorts in the Ore Mountains are snow safe and they have slopes for both experienced and less experienced skiers as well as trails for extensive cross-country skiing. All resorts are equipped with snow cannons, ski schools, ski and snowboard equipment rental, restaurants and parking. The largest ski area, Klinovec, has 10 lifts and 10 ski runs (blue and red), with a total length of 10 km (length 500 -1350 m). There is an extra ski park for children. 6 km away lies the ski resort of Neklid, just outside the small village of Dar Boži. It has 7 lifts, 1 lift for children, 7 slopes (total length 6.5 km), 1 slalom descent, evening skiing and a snowboard park. For cross-country skiers there are 150 km of cross-country trails with varying lengths and difficulty levels. The ski area of Novako in Boži Dar has 2 slopes and a child playground and lift. Oberwiesenthal ski resort in Germany has 20 km of cross-country ski trails, 6 lifts, 10 ski runs (blue, red and black) varying in length from 650 to 2500 meters and sufficiently illuminated snowboard track. There is also a 250-meter-long toboggan run as well as a 100-meter-long toboggan run for children. Here you will also find opportunities for ice skating on natural ice (skates can be rented). If you would like to spend a day in the immediate vicinity and still go skiing, in Abertamy there is a small slope with a lift. In the village there is a prepared sledding hill. 2.5 km away, in the small village of Pernink, there are a total of 5 lifts, a child lift, 6 ski trails, 50 km of cross-country trails, night skiing, a ski school and ski equipment rental. Families with children and / or beginners can certainly spend a week here and have lots of fun! The prices for a ski pass are lower than in the major centers. Inside the accommodation there is an information book for you regarding winter sports opportunities.
