I wonder if “Beach Time” is like 'Island Time?” Pinkie wondered as she flew gracefully over the front entrance gate at the popular beach community of Cypress Breeze Plantation. She certainly hoped so! Island Time was a special state of mind that came over people on vacation who were truly immersed in relaxation and prone to forgetting anything related to time management. Since we are technically not on an island in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida…Beach Time is what it is!

Pinkie's destination was the first house on the left…an inviting 2-story house surrounded by trees and with numerus porches that promised those special vacation vignettes where friends and family could gather and enjoy the moment. “So far so good!” Pinkie ascended the stairs leading up to the front door. Once inside she was immediately captivated by the soothing, earthy wood tones mixed with crisp whites and well-deserving beiges…a very relaxing palette of coastal color with pops of blues and greys. Natural light streamed in from expansive windows and the mood was airy and fresh. “I feel like I am in a designer tree house,” thought Pinkie as she made her way over to the side porch off of the dining area. Outdoor seating and lounging overlooking the side yard created a very cozy space. Part of this vacation home's charm stems from the very private feeling that it delivers …all while being just minutes from the action of 30A.

Brand new 6-seater golf included with your vacation! Golf carts are street legal here and getting around is fun and easy. Head to the beach at the Ed Walline Public Beach Access just ½ mile away and catch some of the Emerald Coast's best beaches. Beach access offers with parking, rest rooms and lifeguards on duty in peak season. Zipping down to the shops and restaurants at Gulf Place for a slice of local beach life will be an event in and of itself. Gulf Place includes shopping, dining & fun! Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar pairs libations and great eats with lofty Gulf views overlooking the street scene below. For Americana, a great place for lunch, or an evening of live music, check out La Playa, situated on the corner of 30A at Gulf Place. In the Gulf Place town center, you'll also find The Perfect Pig, serving outstanding breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as craft cocktails. For the kids, you can't beat Pizza by the Sea, or cross over 393 and check out Pecan Jacks for amazing and unique ice cream choices! In the morning, wander down to Sunrise Coffee! The Gulf Place Amphitheater often offers live concerts, and who can resist a farmers market...on-site seasonally every week.

Outdoor opportunities abound for biking, hiking and just getting back to nature. Tucked off Hwy 393 just a few blocks from the Gulf, the private, gated community of Cypress Breeze Plantation is famous for its stunning, resort-style waterfall pool sure to impress and entertain everyone in your group. Fountains, grottoes and a spacious sundeck make this much more than a swimming pool…it's a water wonderland! Open from 8am to 10pm daily all season long….not heated. Cypress Breeze Plantation is also known for its sprawling groves of Florida cypress trees, providing habitats for many species of Florida wildlife.

Lovely home and great area!

This home held our large family nicely .The beds were very comfortable . It came with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The golf cart was a great perk. The beach was right the road. The pool was great , very large and with grottos .

So much space and not too far from the beach!

My family had a wonderful time here at Cypress Breeze. The house was so spacious and everyone enjoyed having their own balconies. There were plenty of towels for everyone in house. Loved that it’s located at the front of the neighborhood by the gates. Easy access of getting in and out. We used the grill most nights here. The golf cart was a bonus to have to get to and from the beach along with the bikes. So much was provided at the house including beach chairs and toys etc. We went to the pool and the kids really had a blast there as there were a lot space for chairs and the pool was huge with waterfalls. Definitely would book here again.

Amazing house!

Beautiful home! Very spacious. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 8. Great location close to the beach. The golf cart made the short drive to the beach easy.

Cypress Breeze Vacation

This was a beautiful house with more than enough room for our family of 5. The house was modern with newer appliances and more than enough starter essentials (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, etc.). The house was very clean, and there were also plenty of towels in each bathroom, which was not always the case in the vacation houses we have rented in the past. It was nice to not be washing towels each day of vacation! The location was a pretty long walk from the beach, but definitely possible if needed. However, the golf cart was SO helpful for getting people and beach supplies to and from the beach. Parking at the public access was quite limited, but there was parking along the street or in the middle area behind the shops of the Gulf Place hub. It was a similar distance to the pool, but there were always plenty of places to park when visiting there. The pool was very nice, but it was interesting that vacation renters couldn't use it until noon, as only community owners had access from 8 am -12 pm. While I understand this somewhat, I've never rented from a place that had such rules. My family is just fine going to the beach, but if you had little kids who preferred the pool and were up early, waiting so long to swim might be difficult. There were many supplies in the garage that were helpful for our stay. We got up early and put the beach chairs and umbrella out before the beach got too crowded. The public access area is somewhat small, so early is best when planning for a beach day. There were boogie boards and a football that we also used for our trips each day. The bikes in the garage were nice, but 3 out of the 4 are youth bikes, which I didn't realize when renting the house. We didn't end up using them at all, but just be aware if biking is something you might consider doing. We grew to love this area of 30A while visiting & were so happy we made a last-minute decision to stay here for our summer vacation! The reality company was quick to respond to any questions we had prior to booking, so that was helpful too. It was a great place to stay and a beautiful getaway!
