The property was absolutely adorable! It was cozy, bright and beautiful. Our host was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back!
We were attending a party for the weekend and the spot and cottage were ideal. A short skip to the private beach and the Popponessett village shops were wonderful.
The cottage was a perfect retreat for our first time ever visiting Cape Cod. For me, the beach was a flash back to a childhood home. Made it edtra special
My wife and I truly enjoy our stay once we identified the correct property. This is an well appointed property that has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Close and easy walk to the beach. Close to near by shopping and restaurants.
Excellent stay for family of 4. Loved the privacy of this particular unit. Have stayed in many local homes and condos. This location extremely desirable. Highly recommend!!!
Location great, near ocean. Wife said - "this is so cute ... can we stay an extra day" when we walked in. Place was everything we wanted and Kurig coffee machine was a bonus. We enjoyed the local attractions and restaurants. Highly recommend Cooks - 10 min away.
The cottage was great! It was perfect for our small group and we loved that it was so close to the beach and the market. The outdoor space was really nice and we were very comfortable inside and out. We had a small issue with the AC but the owner worked with us to resolve it quickly; it was back to working in no time!
It’s exactly as described and even better. Perfect location. Great size home. We loved it and will be back often. I cannot rave enough about it. 10/10.
Just my husband and I stayed here and definitely plan on coming back! The house was very clean and so much a close walk to the beach. The only thing that could’ve improved our stay was the shower drain. It was pretty clogged and the tub filled up every time we took a shower. Other than that it was a great time!
It was a perfect stay. Location couldn't be nicer-- quiet, lovely beach, convenient walk to restaurants and market, and short drive to Mashpee Commons.
The cottage still needs a few small improvements, but Scott is on it! Even brought a brand new washer/dryer while we were there.
We could happily make this an annual tradition!.
We loved the property and our time in Maushop on the Cape. Property was spotless and wonderfully appointed. Host was prompt in getting back to the one question we had. Highly recommend this property. September is a great time of year as things have quieted down yet everything still accessible.
Located within walking distance to beach and shops/restaurants. Clean and good size for wife and me. Hot water did go out on last day so very cold showers. Also drain was clogged badly (saw this reported by last guest as well). I reported issues and not very sympathetic responses…just that he would take a look the day we were leaving. Overall great time and loved the Cape!

Coupd hv been better, nothing to do with house just a string of duster events
Really cute house in the wonderful, charming neighborhood of Maushop…
The house has a few problems, broken shades, bathtub that does drain, uncleared grills…that said….we loved this house! So charming! Lights of light and beautiful wood floors, lots of windows…some of the appliances were just top of the line! Really great air conditioners (so important!) and huge beautiful new TV. But, most importantly…is Maushop Village itself….just a perfect vacation spot for families, couples, etc…so close to the beach…beautiful little streets and wonderful landscaping…it all feels so safe and relaxed and beautiful!! Highly recommend
This house was absolutely perfect for a week-stay on the Cape. The neighborhood was quiet, and the beach was just a few houses away, visible from couch in the living room. The house was clean and comfortable with most everything needed for our stay
The property loses one star because there is some unfinished work in the house. One of the bedframes was really loose, but the host was able to come by and tighten it up. The bathroom is missing the towel rack and the wall where it was removed hasn't been repaired yet, and the downstairs bedroom closet needs some repairs. These issues did not directly affect our stay and will probably be fixed up before the next renters, but they need to be noted.
Lovely little cottage. 1 block away from the community private beach. Warm water, gentle waves, soft sand. Convenient market place area with restaurants, bars, mini golf. Childrens museum for a rainy day. I recommend reaching out to the host, who is very responsive, to remind him of your arrival and time so that he can make sure the house is ready for you and to give you some extra instructions for finding the correct house. There were two houses with the same number on the same street and our GPS got a bit confused. Highly recommend this house and location. Would love to stay here again and have recommended to friends!
I used to be a CEO of several tech and services companies but got tired of the commute to Asia, I invested in the stock market for many years but early this year decided to start investing in rental properties where I live on Cape Cod in Poppponesset.
Why they chose this property
This is a stand alone cottage. New appliances and furnishings. Air conditioning being installed shortly. A short walk to the Popponesset Inn or the Raw Bar.
What makes this property unique
Private beach, close to everything (including the Raw Bar). Great for weddings and events in Popponesset or shopping in Mashpee Commons.
