Very pleasant and comfortable. Appreciated having A/Cs in each room so different preferences could be accommodated. Also grateful for a ground floor bedroom to help with accessibility.

Hey Beth, thank you for leaving a review, we are happy you enjoyed your stay!
The property was perfect for my friends and I to stay for a weekend getaway to the finger lakes! We explored the wineries and breweries all over the lake. The home had everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable! Will absolutely book again with our group!
This was our first experience with Vrbo, and absolutely loved it! What a joy to have this lovely home for our family to all gather together and celebrate a wedding at an area venue. The home was clean, with a large dining table for family games, a separate living /tv room and comfortable bedrooms. I walked around the college, walked to Wegmans and McDonald’s and walk to the beautiful downtown area; It was such a great location. Thank you Matt! You were very responsive, helpful and so accommodating. We had a wonderful trip.
Very convenient location within walking distance to waterfront and downtown. House was nice and clean. We appreciated the fact that each bedroom had an air conditioner. We had one minor snafu with the lock on the door, and the owner addressed and fixed it within minutes of me reaching out to him. It was nice to know he was so attentive. We didn’t need any other support because the house was well equipped with supplies including toiletries.
The house is very conveniently located to town, Belhurst Castle, Wegmans and just about everything you need. The owner was easy to contact and quickly came over to fix a minor plumbing problem upon our arrival. The house is very spacious and nicely equipped with all the necessities. We didnt use the kitchen at all but it seemed to have everything needed. Everything was also clean and organized. But, if you're looking for a beautifully restored classic house this is not it. When my nephews learned where we were staying they had a little chuckle as they had attended many college parties there. My nephew's wife tried to make me feel better by saying that females had always lived there when she was at Hobart just a few years ago. It may have been known as the Colosseum which is better than a nearby house named "The Dump." So if you're just looking for a place to sleep you'll be fine, but if you're looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy your surroundings this may not be the place for you.

Lisa,
It’s a shame that you feel inclined to tarnish our reputation as a host in this wonderful town. We work tirelessly to maintain and upkeep this property for our guests, and our previous reviews (aside from yours) clearly reflect that. Had do you reached out to us with any requests for a refund, because you felt short changed, or anything else you needed during your stay we would have immediately jumped into action to accommodate you accordingly. But instead you did not contact us for any support or inadequacies, and proceeded to simply rate us poorly based off your nephews opinion of a different house from a different time.
Your nephews experience of a place being associated with college housing does not reflect the standard of our guests experience now, and to anyone reading this review please consider the many other positive guest experiences we have by reading our previous reviews. We are happy to share any additional information you may be wondering, and yes the photos do reflect what the inside of this home provides so I am not sure why Lisa feels obligated to claim she was expecting something different. Perhaps she is a friend of our competition in the local area.
This home is a wonderful place for up to 14 people to gather in Geneva for whatever brings you our way. We will continue to take pride in serving great value to our guests with this accommodation.
Please don’t let one bad egg spoil your amazing stay with us, we look forward to hosting you!
Enjoyed our stay immensely. Lots of room for the family. The large kitchen island and dining room table we could gather around made our take out buffets a breeze. Space for some to play cards, some to watch tv, others to sit and visit. The various AC units worked well considering we were there four of the hottest days this summer. Well equipped and Matt stopped by and supplied extras. Convenient to walk to the coffee shop and we walked into town for dinner one night. Bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable. It was an ideal place to spend time with the family.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. Matt was extremely easy to work with and the home was accurately represented in the description. The home was very clean and adequately stocked with all items needed for cooking. Small touches like extra tooth brushes and shampoo in the bathrooms were greatly appreciated. Centrally located to many wineries and walking distance to downtown with several restaurants. The only con for this home is that a few of the bedrooms are on a busy road resulting in some noise/difficulty sleeping, however this is 100% out of Matt’s control. We would absolutely stay here again.
The house was charming. Easy to find and park. My family loved the homey feel of the place. Great location to walk to a cute little coffee shop called Monico’s. We went out for dinner at two local restaurants (Port of Geneva and Kindred Fare) and the food was amazing. Lots of places close by to sample wine and beer. We crossed the street and walked around the Hobart William Smith campus. I’d love to come back during the summer and spend more time on the lake. The property manager was very responsive and accommodating.
This was a wonderful get away for my friends and I. This place is in a good location, walked around the corner to Monaco’s for a yummy chai latte. The house looks newly renovated and was very spacious. Located in the most convenient spot, roughly 5 minutes to Wegmans, Seneca lake and down town Geneva. Will definitely be back!
