Comfrey, awesome and central to everything home in Thousand Oaks

The house and host are 5 stars all around! The only thing that could make it better would be a playroom (darts, pool table) or pool 😁

Comfortable and great location

Great safe neighbourhood and location, the property is very close to freeways for getting around but not so close that it’s noisy. If we needed something, a quick message to the owner and it was delivered the same day. The beds were deceivingly comfortable, don’t judge by appearance is what I’m saying. They initially looked like they could be futon mattresses but were like a high end memory foam mattress, we had had great sleeps on them.

Hard pass

The house is two houses up from a very busy road. No gardening upkeep in the front to welcome you in and no sliding doors work to get in the backyard. The house smelled like bleach upon check-in. I couldn’t open anything to let it ventilate. Beds are super firm and without comfortable bedding. The TV has a mind of its own. No towels waiting in the bathrooms, we had to find them. No clean drawers or cabinets in any room. This was is on my hard pass list. We had to leave four days early since we couldn’t sleep. No accommodations were made by the owners.

A Christmas Gift

This property was perfect for our stay. It was 5 minutes from our daughter's house for our out of town Xmas. Three minutes to shopping. Maybe a whole minute to the freeway which took us all over Ventura County and the Valley. It's rooms were spacious, comfortable and had every amenity. The backyard was amazingly private. Ami was an incredibly responsive host. I hope we can get it next year, too! First dibs!!!!

Great Place

Worth the money. Great place to explore Malibu and Southern California from. Backyard has 100% privacy. The house is laid out great, and is fun for the family. Owner is pleasant and responsive.

Nice house & Nice owner

This property was very roomy inside. Plenty of parking and close to a lot of shopping and dining. The downfall was that the bacyard was under construction and did not have the nice green grass I was lead to beleive it had in the pictures. A real bummer for my kids who could not run around and play in the yard. That is the main reason we booked this property. So I would ask before booking this property. Owner was very nice and helpful. Will book again when construction is complete!
