Property was charming and right in the centre of Petit Venise with an amazing view of the market hall, gorgeous timbered houses and canal. Location couldn't have been better and there's parking if needed Beds were comfy. Shower was nice. Decor was colourful and cute. Kitchen had plenty of kit (not that we used it). Bath towels provided (no hand towel). We visited on a very hot day and the house, particularly the attic bedroom, was very hot over night, even with all the windows open. A fan would have been really appreciated and the blind catches in the living room need some attention to help keep the flat cool.Host was really helpful and friendly, had great suggestions for places to visit and eat. We were contacted before our stay: once immediately after booking to ask if we could stay longer than the one night we had booked. (We couldn't: train back to UK was booked for the following morning). Then 2 days before arrival to ask us to change apartments. We didn't mind (and actually the replacement had a better view) but it was unsettling while we were travelling.
