WELCOME

In the midst of the wonderfully quiet Bavarian Forest, high above the idyllic village of Sankt Englmar, our beautiful new apartment "Bergwald-Panorama" welcomes you with 2 rooms, large balcony and a fantastic view. Renovated with much love and equipped with a new bathroom, new kitchen and many new furniture, the apartment offers the best conditions for a perfect family holiday in the middle of nature. The apartment belongs to a holiday complex, which has its own large indoor pool with outdoor pool and slide, two saunas, a football hall, table tennis, a miniature golf course, an outdoor playground and a large indoor playground with trampolines, giant slides and Climbing Maze offers many exciting recreational opportunities.

THE APARTMENT

The 53m² apartment consists of a combined living room and bedroom with kitchenette as well as a separate second children's bedroom and a modern shower room. From the large balcony you have a beautiful panoramic view of the town of Sankt Englmar, the surrounding mountain forest and the Danube Valley - and on clear days even into the Alps. The apartment has comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to five people.

The apartment "Bergwald-Panorama" is equipped with everything that belongs to a successful holiday. These include free fresh towels and linen, a hair dryer, a CD radio, a high-quality flat-screen TV with DVD player and a selection of beautiful children's books, toys, DVDs and board games for all ages.

The fully equipped kitchen has a large refrigerator, dishwasher, two ceramic hobs, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, pans, pots, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Washing machines and dryers are available in the holiday complex. Washing machines can be purchased at reception.

The apartment "Bergwald-Panorama" belongs to the holiday complex at the Predigtstuhl, which offers many exciting opportunities for leisure activities. The facility is already a bit older, but is currently brought step by step to a contemporary state. The building in which your apartment is located has already been renovated, so there is no reason to fear any noise disturbance.

° ° ° SWIMMING POOL + SAUNA + FITNESS (ALL FREE OF CHARGE) ° ° °

The free, large indoor pool with counter-current system and jacuzzi massages, the connected modern fitness center and the sauna area with Finnish sauna, bio-sanarium and infrared cabin have recently been completely renovated and are in excellent condition. In summer, a large outdoor pool with extra wide slide, on which several children can slide at the same time, for additional bathing fun. ATTENTION: From 2nd to 21st December 2018, the pool is closed because of a reconstruction.

Other attractions of the resort include table tennis, an outdoor playground and - for a fee, but cheap deals - a miniature golf course, an electric kart track, a large football hall with several fields and a 1,300 m² indoor playground with giant slides, trampolines , big climbing castle, billiards, table football, air hockey, Lego construction site and a childcare service.

IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The surrounding mountains and forests invite to extensive hikes and bike tours in beautiful, original nature. In the center of Sankt Englmar there is a spa park with a large children's playground, an animal park and a very clean bathing lake. In a few minutes you can also reach the Freizeitparadies Sankt Englmar, where a spectacular forest treetop trail, a mountain roller coaster, a water playground and many other attractions await visitors. On rainy days, a visit to the "Experium", a great, within walking distance experimental museum (not only) for children. In the wider area there is a canoe rental, an underground former silver mine and a glassblowing, where you can make your own glass balls and take home. ° ° ° A PARADISE IN WINTER ° ° °

In the cold season, Sankt Englmar turns into a winter sports paradise: in the immediate vicinity there are numerous trails, lifts and ski slopes (Pröller Skidereieck, Predigtstuhl Arena, etc.). State-of-the-art snow-making facilities ensure good skiing conditions regardless of the weather. Thanks to floodlight, nocturnal skiing pleasure is possible. Two ski schools with rental services can be found directly on site. The prices for ski passes etc. are very moderate compared to many other winter sports resorts. In the family-friendly ski resort of Sankt Englmar, more children are taken into consideration and there are fewer "racers" on the slopes than anywhere else. Another special feature is the toboggan lift in the center of Sankt Englmar: Here, visitors of all ages can easily be taken by lift to the top of the sledge, and then whiz down the slope. A wonderful experience is also horse-drawn sleigh rides and winter walks through the snowy Bavarian Forest.

° ° ° SHOPPING + RESTAURANTS ° ° °

There are various shops on site in Sankt Englmar (large Edeka market, bakery and confectioner, butchers, sports and clothing stores, gas station, bank with ATM, etc.). There are many nice restaurants and cafes in the vicinity of the apartment. If desired, breakfast, half-board or full-board can be booked at the reception desk of the Predigtstuhl-Resort. Alternatively, the baker can also provide fresh rolls on request in the morning.

° ° ° FREE LOW GARAGE ° ° °

To the apartment belongs an underground car park, which our guests can use free of charge. This is handy if there are too few parking spaces available during the main season - and in the winter, because you do not have to free your car from snow and ice every morning. From the underground car park, a covered and heated path leads directly to your apartment.

° ° ° SIMPLE ARRIVAL ° ° °

The easiest way to reach Sankt Englmar is by car. From the A3 (Passau - Regensburg) take the exit "Bogen" or "Schwarzach" and follow the signs to Sankt Englmar (about 15 minutes).

Also by public transport you can reach the apartment: By train to the station Straubing (about 30 km away), from there by bus no. 15 or by taxi to the front of the house.
