Remote, Great Location. Host very quick to respond and take care of any needs. Very friendly. Would definitely consider another stay with my daughter being at WCU. Great WCU Family weekend base.

Excellent experience, beautiful place and great communication with owner. The house had everything we needed. I highly recommend this spot!!
It was just what we were looking for our anniversary trip. House was very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stocked perfectly. We have stayed in a number of VRBO’s around the country and this is in our top 5. They answered the few questions we had very quickly. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful place close to great hiking, amazing views, comfortable beds. We loved the hot tub. Host was responsive and we had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again!
Nestled on the top of a quaint mountainside group of homes about 5 miles from Happs! Marlett road - the last mile in is windy and narrow but you get used to it. It has key paved sections on the steep parts. We hiked it a few days for exercise! The hot tub was clean and nice and hot for our cool temperatures. They could use some porch lighting as it’s dark out there. Maybe some string lights or a sensor light? A guide book to the electric heating - which was super effective - would be helpful. It was 22/42 degrees outside over thanksgiving. We kept it cozy at 70. Fully stocked kitchen and amenities - amazing hot and cold water for the beautiful bathrooms and showers. Easily housed 5 of us. Really close to lake glenville public access - maybe 4 miles. Walked around there as well. The internet in the highlands / cashiers leaves something to be desired. Our first visit to the area - we learned the roads are windy, lots of water falls, and internet speed is not a priority. We had a very relaxing and wonderful long thanksgiving weekend here. Bradley was so responsive and we could check in early and checkout late. Great place.
This property was perfect for our stay. The property boasts some wonderful amenities and is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is located halfway between Franklin, NC and Cashiers, NC. There are wonderful hiking trails that lead to amazing waterfalls all around.
It was an amazing stay! The property was beautiful and the house was well kept, clean and comfortable. The host is very responsive and was interested in our satisfaction. Thank you for this opportunity.
A beautiful relaxing mountain house that has everything you need!
This house is perfect! It was very clean and had everything needed for a perfect stay. We enjoyed our time here. It is a gorgeous house in a gorgeous area. It was very peaceful. Bradley was extremely easy and pleasant to work with while booking and our stay. I would highly recommend this VRBO!! We will definitely be back!!!
We cannot recommend this place highly enough! From the idyllic location to the amenities to the fantastic communication and friendliness of the host, it was our best vrbo experience yet—and we’ve had nothing but great ones so that says a lot. Cannot wait to return for another stay soon!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for rest & relaxation this is the place for you. Do yourself and your family a favor and reserve this beautiful home. Thanks to Bradley a wonderful host!
House and Bradley could not have been better. He was super accommodating, house was clean, well appointed, and the weather was chamber of commerce. Oh the view, outstanding.
This is the place to stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains
Amazing on every level! Such an amazing experience for me and my family. Plenty to do just at this beautiful house on it's own. The view was amazing the home was gorgeous and fully equipped for large or small groups. The rock quarry was a fun place for the adults and kids. We definitely would rent again.
Beautiful Mountain top home! Amenities were great, house was spacious and very comfortable for a big family! Lots to do at the property, hot tub, pool table, games and great porches to take in the scenery.
Driving was a bit challenging the last couple of miles (one lane road and a bit steep) but it was so worth the adventure!
Loved the experience. Would definitely recommend. Host was very responsive and great communication!
This was a beautiful home nestled in the mountains with an absolutely amazing view. We had 4 couples and one infant with us. The home has two actual bedrooms upstairs and a large recreation room downstairs with two beds.
None of us realized the home had three levels, but we managed. (We thought the two bedrooms were on the main level. I should have asked to be sure.) There were three very nice full bathrooms with showers (one on each level of the home.) As long as people needing beds can handle stairs it’s ideal. We had two people in our group with limited mobility. One, a stroke survivor with limited control on one side, was able to get up and down the stairs adequately. My husband cannot handle more than 3-4 stairs due to a Long-Covid disability, but sleeps in a recliner most nights. There were two comfortable couches that he could choose from as well. I brought an air mattress and set it up between the dining area and living room, so I was quite comfortable.
The kitchen, dining, and living area was one open space making it perfect for our group to hang out comfortably. The multiple porch spaces were beautifully furnished and comfortable. Due to time constraints none of used the hot tub. :(
We were there for WCU’s homecoming, so we didn’t spend tons of time at the house. We all wished we could stay another day. The route to the house is winding and not at all fun to drive in the dark, but we knew the house was up the mountain. It was worth it!!! Thanks.
Our family gathered at the home to celebrate Thanksgiving. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed for cooking, plenty of dishes, cookware, spices, utensils. The beds were comfortable, the porch and deck favorite places to enjoy nature. Plenty of linens and extras in this beautiful home! The owner responded quickly to questions before and during our stay.
We had a great time at this property. Plenty of fun things to do nearby. The cabin was very clean and offered great privacy with all the comforts of home. The views from the back porch are amazing. A great anniversary spot.
