Amazing! Wish we could of stayed longer! Beautifully decorated and the AC was wonderful! Everything was so clean! Kids enjoyed the pool too! We would absolutely stay here again!
Everything was PERFECT!!!! Even the description about the stairs!!! This property was beautiful and the description was spot on! We loved our Host Sibrena, Our Chef Geoff and our Driver Percy!!! We loved it so much, we are planning as we speak to stay again at the same place in 2024! I would recommend to anyone looking through VRBO and Montego Bay is your destination, stayat Ocean Spring, Solde Lookout !!
This place was just as pictured. It was a peaceful quiet community. Definitely need a car or a driver to get around. Our host was able to provide info for a driver. The unit had everything you needed to feel at home. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked, plenty of pool towels were made available to use. The host communicated within minutes to address all our needs.
The only challenge we had was the stairs. The building doesn’t have an elevator and the unit is on the top floor - two flights of stairs. The warning was embedded in the description but I didn’t see it until after booking. My group was all 55+ 3 of the 4 us struggled. So, beware. Other than that, it’s a great place to stay.

I stayed in the Penthouse Suite Apartment from August 18–23, and while the apartment looks just like the photos at first glance, my overall experience was disappointing.Here are my honest observations:The apartment loses water pressure randomly in different areas (kitchen, bathroom, and shower).The furniture is very fragile and low quality, so handle with extreme care.One of the ceiling fans in the downstairs master bedroom is burnt out, only works on one speed, and gives off a smell when running.There were not enough drinking cups for the maximum number of guests the apartment is advertised to accommodate.The stairway leading to the penthouse suite was extremely hot and humid, which made coming and going very uncomfortable.Booking & Policy Warning:Take serious caution before booking this property. The host enforces a very strict cancellation policy and will not make exceptions even for legitimate reasons. If you cancel within 30 days of booking, you will lose 50% of your payment, no matter the circumstances—even if you just booked the room. You will only get a full refund if you cancel before the 30-day mark.Communication Problems:I reached out to the host immediately after booking to explain my situation and request a cancellation, but the host did not respond to any of my messages until the actual day of check-in. No resolution was reached because the host completely ignored multiple messages in the Vrbo portal and failed to address my concerns.

We feel this review is biased and an attempt to find faults stemming from dissatisfaction with our cancellation policy rather than the guest’s actual experience.
We would like to clarify that your refund request came after the cancellation period had passed. While we could not issue a refund per policy and our contractual right… we DID offer to transfer your credit to another date more convenient for you; all of which was communicated via Support.
Unfortunately, your review appears to reflect frustration with this outcome rather than actual issues experienced during your stay.
No concerns about water pressure, furniture, or fans were raised throughout the entirety of your stay. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can promptly address concerns, and in this case, we did respond to all requests (such as providing extra supplies as requested). The stairway and water service are managed by the building, not us, and after departure our dining table was left damaged,(and not because of “poor Quality”)which we reported to VRBO.
While welcome all feedback, we feel this review is not an accurate reflection of the experience we provide.
My primary concern is that the place is not as cleanly as it should be. Everything in the apartment is dusty from clumps of dust on the ceiling fan to layers of dust on the curtains and carpets that are visibly unclean. The top comforter in 2 of the 3 rooms were also visibly dirty. There was no extra tissue, paper towel or any of the basics that a decent rental host provides. The apartment is a 3rd floor walk up which I do not recall being included in the listing. We were promised help with luggage, there was none. The internet went out multiple times, we lost power once and the washer machine didnt work on the last day. The listing also claims to be much closer to the beach than it is. Under no circumstance is this place 10 minutes from doctors cave beach. Lastly, and most egregious we were aksed to move our stay by one day due to "maintenance issues" and promised an early check in as consolation as long as the maintenance issues had been resolved. Lo and behold on check in day early check in was unavailable as there was another guest on the property and the cleaners had not yet finished. The host clearly scammed us so that she could make more money and cost a us hundreds of dollars in the process. She of course waited until 2 days after the full refund cancelation date to make her request leaving us with no choice. Staying here was the only hassle on an otherwise beautiful trip and i would not recommend this place.

We are sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations, and we’d like to clarify several points for accuracy.
You were not promised early check-in. When a maintenance issue arose, we offered a refund for the impacted day and/or a complimentary extra night (declined) and the option to drop bags before check-in—NOT early check-in. The guest who was staying on the property was there to assist with maintenance and required lodging as they are from out of town. There was no “scamming” involved.
Luggage help was arranged—both cleaner and gardener arrived early to assist at checkout as you were informed, though the gardener had left before your arrival unfortunately. Bare in mind this is not a service we would usually offer and was just a gesture of goodwill.
As for amenities, our cleaner stocked the usual amount of tissue and supplies she is required to provide. This is an Airbnb, not a hotel, so these items are not replenished daily. You stayed for 10 days and could have requested more at any time had you needed them.
Estimated beach travel times are based on typical traffic conditions, which can vary.
I also mentioned other locations.
Finally, we take cleanliness seriously and offered you a complimentary mid-stay considering there was no specific claim of fans curtains etc.
Power/internet outages can happen in Jamaica, this is out of our control but we address them as promptly as possible. And did our best to make your stay comfortable.
