The Echelon; great condo for a short stay in Kingston!
From the inception of our reservation Simon was very communicative and helpful with preparing for our arrival. He provided a local driver to pick up/ drop-off from Norman Manley. Upon our arrival the check in process was smooth; collect your main access fob from the gate and proceed to your suite. Simon installed a keyless entry lock on the suite door which helps those of us who lose or forget keys often lol. Upon entry of the suite, I can say that I was not disappointed in the aesthetics nor the cleanliness, great job Simon! The kitchen has all utensils and utilities you will require for your stay. A washer and dryer is provided; no dirty clothes to go home with! Also hot water is accessible with the flick of a switch for those of you who cant do cold showers like me! I liked how the suite had little reminders and notices to help you adjust easier. ie. for the hot water and using A/C etc From our observations we noticed that this condo seems to be newly built and so for the most part was empty with a few vacationing guests like ourselves and a few locals who actually reside there. This was great as we got to enjoy the pool freely, maybe next time we'll make use of the gym and the rooftop patio area. As for security it seemed to be in a pretty safe part of Kingston to me. It wasn't like we were in a palace surrounded by the ghetto right next door lol, also if I'm not mistaken there's a police station not too far. Access to the condo is handled by security at the gate so you don't have to worry once inside... My husband and I walked up to the Mega Mart up the street a few times after dark and it was okay for us. So to sum it up? Would I recommend this suite? Yes, yes I would. Would I book here again? Yes, yes I would. Thank you Simon, hope to connect in the future!
