Cozy half-duplex in central location - walk to downtown or the beach

Updated half duplex in the fantastic James Bay neighbourhood. Enjoy your stay with a short walk to multiple cafes, stores, the inner harbour, parks, or the beach. This place includes a fully equipped and updated kitchen and your own private patio and yard.
This suite has a master loft-style bedroom upstairs with a comfortable king-size bed and half-bath ensuite. The main floor has an open plan style living room and kitchen, a back bedroom / TV room, and a full bathroom.
The second bedroom is set up as a TV room with a daybed that doubles as a couch; the daybed has a trundle pull out underneath for another twin sized bed. This back bedroom/TV room opens up to the back porch and yard.
The kitchen table can be folded out to seat a maximum of six people, in addition to the kitchen island which seats two.
Laundry facilities are located in the basement, which can be entered by a separate entrance around the side of the house.

Amazing Stay in James Bay!
Our stay at Maxine's place was absolutely amazing. The place exceeded our expectations. Although it was a new listing, Maxine thought of everything that we would need, down to elastics. The place was also beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, quiet and in hands down the best location in Victoria. We absolutely loved being able to walk or bike anywhere and only had to use the car when going outside of the city. The unit is also located a few blocks from the best beaches in Victoria all running along Dallas Road. There are also two great grocery stores, a Saturday farmer's market, a library, a corner store and great cafes just a block or two away. The location can't be beat! Maxine and her husband were also very welcoming and courteous while we stayed there. The only down side to the unit is that the upstairs master bedroom would get incredibly hot during the hot days, however this would not deter us from staying at Maxine's place again. Thank you for having us Maxine and we look forward to staying with you again in the near future!
