About this property

The Cake House: 5 Bedroom Art House

Welcome to a piece of cake. Why do we call it Cake? It’s the closest home to the city creek trailhead. The closest home to centennial park (it’s on the park) and it’s still a piece of cake to get down to Main Street or ISU on foot.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Tons of original art, 5br, funky fun environment promoting art and creativity.
This is our special home, not a party house. We want all of our guests to have an incredibly good time but please take the best care of our property and our neighborhood. This is a home of adventure, creativity and love. If you were coming to party or get wild and crazy, this is not the place for you.
We are available via phone and text but will never bother you during your stay.
Next to old town in an incredibly quiet pocket of Pocatello . We think this is the best location possible. Literally the closest house to city creek trail head as well as located on Centennial Park.
We bought this house because you can walk to anything. It’s a quick stroll down to Main Street, you can wander the park, hang out in the pavilion or play around on the big toys in the park.
This is an entire private home with virtually no neighbors. You have centennial park on one side, a vacant lot across the street and the city Creek Trail head on the other side. We have one house behind this one but you feel like you’re virtually all alone at this perfectly located art house.

Enjoy the covered porch, hang out in the park or hit the trails all day. You’ll be back again and again for Idaho adventures here at a piece of cake.
You can park in front of the house or along the side of the house. We use the yard for spreading out but no parking. You can also park in Centennial Park adjacent to the house. You can walk to just about everything including breweries and restaurants in old town so there’s no risk of drinking and driving. It’s an absolutely perfectly chill Idaho neighborhood. Quiet and safe.

Cake house lives up to its name
It was a delightful home in a peaceful neighborhood with awesome access to trails for hiking or walking. The rented yard and approval to have our pet with us during our stay was priceless. We only encountered 1issue which was a delay on our part in receiving instructions on trash day placement of trash bins..Once we contacted the host they promptly responded to our concern. We really enjoyed our stay and the way the home was presented and was on arrival was so true. The host the neighbors all were friendly and easy to work with.We told everyone we encountered during our stay how much we loved this home and how close to everything it was.

Perfect location to access parks and trails!
We enjoyed a delightful stay in this quaint "art deco-themed" home. We had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. This location was quiet and conveniently located to anything we needed in Pocatello. We are all outdoor enthusiasts and loved the easy access to an extensive trail system. Our pups (and us, of course!) appreciated the fenced in yard! We found Billy to be very helpful and welcoming to us. Thank you!
