Bishop's Beach is located in Bay Harbor Galveston. Take your shoes off and your feet are in the sand!

Modern furnishings, high-end finishes, and beautiful views make this beachfront vacation home a place to retreat and relax. The kitchen has an eat-in island with lots of room for cooking up food for those hungry beachgoers. Perfect for multiple couples or several families vacationing together there are four bedrooms each with a full bath and the extra half bath provides space for all. Spectacular views from the living, kitchen, and primary bedroom however there is plenty of deck space for everyone to hang out and enjoy the gulf view.  Sorry, no pets at this home.

Bay Habor is located on Galveston's West End, about 18 miles from town, West of Sea Isle and East of Pointe West.

This vacation home should accommodate up to 4 vehicles to be parked at the property. Carpooling is highly recommended. Vehicles should be parked in the driveway or designated parking space. At no time should any vehicle be parked on lawns, yards or dune. Many HOAs do not allow parking for trailers, RVs, boats, etc. Please contact Ryson with any questions.

Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TVs. Oftentimes additional TVs are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices.

All reservations require a completed Ryson Rental Agreement, and the agreement holder must be at least 25 years of age to rent this property and provide a valid ID at check-in. Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is at 10 am.


EXTENDED STAYS

Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rentals require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.

Location and house was great! Thankfully the public access to beach was close. The walkway over to beach was very short at the house, but the Mosquitoes were very bad. Also paranoid walking through dunes due to snakes. So in all a fun trip!

We enjoyed this house very much. It had a lot more things than were described which is nice, but I wish we could have known in advance. I even asked questions a few days before but didn’t get an answer. For instance there were 2 keurig pod coffeemakers plus a regular drip machine. There were lots of extra pillows and blankets. There were also plenty of spices, but we read that we should bring our own salt and pepper. And there was a charcoal grill. The layout was great. The area under the house to wash off was great. The master bedroom has a newly remodeled shower instead of the bathtub listed. The beach was very close. Bring extra dish soap and paper towels and toilet paper if you like quality paper products. The hot water in the showers didn’t get hot enough for me. Overall we were very happy with our stay but I like reviews that give details I’d want to know.

Beautiful Property / Didn't care for Ryson Management
Beautiful property and furnishings. Great location, great view, nice to have outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Two toilets needed maintenance, dripping faucet, towel rack needed repair. Could use more teaspoons, and cookie sheets. Ryson Rentals was stingy about giving access information... 40 minutes before our check in time. (I did try to call and get the info 24 hours before, but Mary Jo wouldn't budge. We had family traveling and my 85 year old mom doesn't text or email while traveling.) Didn't receive enough towels for our group; asked for more and was promised more... The towels were never delivered.

Home repairs
We had a water leak the first night and weren’t sure we could use main bathroom for a few hours. There ended up being a hole cut out in downstairs hall ceiling and also two holes cut in wall of main bath. It was clear that bathroom had had problems from looking at ceiling and it has 3 different floors in it. We were able to use it even though plumber couldn’t fix it till we left. Siding outside was off outside that shower also so very windy rainy night one night and the flapping/ wind howling through/ the siding kept us up. The property manager was great and was going to check on a partial refund for us as the property was not in the condition for a top dollar rental.
