Diamond Beach 405 - Blue Haven is a gorgeous 3-bedroom and 2-bath property at Diamond Beach Resort. Enjoy stunning views, a lazy river, and a cascading pool all within the resort.

The living, dining, and kitchen area all open with views of the gulf from almost every angle. Take a seat at the couch to watch a movie or even watch the sun go down from the floor to ceiling windows.

The kitchen is state of the art with everything that is needed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grab a cup of coffee and sit out on the balcony for the sunrise or make a favorite drink for the sunset./p>

Try not to fight over the primary bath with its giant shower and separate jetted tub! Use the included washer and dryer to get the beach clothes and towels ready for the next day.
Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes)(peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community.

The decor, upkeep, and amenities Blue Haven offers was great for our extended family to enjoy. My sister and her family stayed at this property, and they loved how spacious and gorgeous it was.

Great condo! Well stocked and very comfortable. We loved the covered parking and loading and unloading was very easy. 4th floor is great because the game room, spa, and gym are on that floor. (We did notice the bunk beds were needing some attention.) We will definitely be back!

The property was beautiful, location was great and the facilities, pool hot tub absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, this was our second time staying at Diamond beach and we love it. The condo was quite nice the only downside was the owner response to questions and/or request was either slow or none at all. Luckily we were able to adjust our plans with no adverse effects.

Landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful pool and lazy river. Game room on 4th floor along with an amazing gym. Rooms are nice, but the primary bedroom in a 3 bedroom unit has NO closet. All in all our granddaughters had a wonderful time . They loved being in the lazy river after dark!

Nice place.

The property was very nice and clean. The only complaint I have is the check out time was 10am with no option for a late checkout. Most hotels check out is at least 11am.

Excellent. Perfect spot as you can walk to the beach (5-10 minute walk) without having to cross Seawall blvd traffic. It’s also at the end of the seawall so not as busy as other locations on the seawall. If you get tired of the beach this property has a fantastic pool and many amenities for kids. The room was very clean and had plenty of room for our family(3 kids 10 or under and 5 adults). Only complaint was the coffee pot does not match the coffee maker so we had to improvise to be able to make coffee just a minor inconvenience (assuming a previous guest accidentally broke the correct coffee pot and tried to replace it with a different brand coffee pot)

The condo was beautiful. Only thing bad was that no one had oiled the sliding glass door and it was super hard to open and close. Really hard! One friend suggested a drain boar as we mostly washed our things. I also want to say that in the off season, which is when we were there, we were told to "leave your car on the seawall" because there are only 2 cars allowed to park. One inside (which was empty) and one outside. It took 3 cars to get all 7 of us together as we were coming from different places. My friend did not want to leave her 2026 BMW on the Seawall!!! The parking lot outside the condo was also empty so I don't quite understand the issue?!Rooms were nice and so were the beds. There were 7 of us and it was a beautiful fit for us. Everything worked and we appreciated the fan in the closet. The patio furniture is different than what was in the pictures and it was so oversized for that small patio. We were glad to be on the east side of the building because of the construction on the west end. Facility is always clean and beautiful. This could be my new Forever Home when I am on the island.We were all very pleased.

Blue Haven is amazing!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. Check out at 10am is early in my opinion. But it was overall a spectacular weekend at a beautiful property!

It was a great place to stay for a family. Our kids loved the indoor pool and game room. We were only able to swim in the outdoor pool once as the water was freezing so it had to be pretty hot out to enjoy it. The condo was a good location, not right in the heart of Galveston but close. Would recommend!!

3.5 Stars- Could be 5 if…

The Diamond Beach Condos are great—checking was easy, loved the pool, lazy river, direct beach access, and swim-up bar. Staff was friendly, and the kids enjoyed the theater/game room/indoor pool on rainy days. This could easily be a 5-star experience, but this unit needs attention. We even called maintenance twice and no one came. There was a strong odor at the entry (like cat pee/sewage), the washing machine smelled awful- likes sewage, pillows were about 1in thick, bedding was old and stained (gross), and the patio door handle was broken making it nearly impossible to close- it’s 100lb door. The dishwasher and oven doors are heavy and dropped hard (the dishwasher even cut and bruised my shin), the primary toilet wouldn’t flush, and one dining chair was missing screws and about to collapse so we turned it upside down. On top of that, they left only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 7 people over 4 days—we had to buy TP, trash bags, and dishwasher soap ourselves. Just FYI if you’re shopping ahead of time. I’d stay here again if they would at least fix the door and get rid of the smell issue.

Lack of communication

If anyone would have taking the time to read my multiple communications, they would have known we didn’t even go to the condo. No one bothered to tell me that all the outdoor amenities, pools and lazy River were closed indefinitely. We come every year and just for the amenities. I will never book with Ryson properties sgaun

We had a handle in the primary bathroom break off from the wall the 1st morning we were there. I called the front office for maintenance, they said they would send maintenance up and to contact the host. I tried notifying the host but the # listed was a none working #, I also sent a message. Over an hour later no one had come to turn the water off. I didn’t hear from the host mgmt company, Ryson Mgmt Group, until 4 hours later. I was told they would check the status and would get back to me and they never did. The condo was nicely decorated and it slept up to 8 people, we had 6 retired ladies in our group, they only provided 4 total bath towels for our stay. The front desk told us we could buy additional towels if we needed them . The bed pillows were literally 1 inch thick on all the beds, with no extra pillows on any bed, (king size bed in primary had 2 only and extremely flat, which the pics on VRBO showed several pillows on the beds and fluffy) the handle on the balcony door was broken and the door was extremely heavy to open and close. There were candy wrappers on the balcony from previous guest that had not been picked up which had attracted tons of ants. There was hair left in the bathtub in the primary bathroom that had not been cleaned. The property only allows for 2 parking spaces which they were adamant about, even though we were there off season and hardly anyone was at the resort. Greg, the front desk manager was extremely rude and arrogant.

Nice but…

This was our family’s second time visiting Diamond Beach and our first time at Blue Haven. The pros (of Blue Haven specifically): nice interior with lots of cute decor, well stocked kitchen, nice kitchen appliances, great hot water for showers and kitchen, good wifi (according to my husband that worked quite a bit), nice view of beach and pool, the beds were very comfortable, lots of drawer space for unpacking clothes, and a good working A/C! The cons (of Blue Haven specifically): Long walk to the main elevator, pretty cramped with all the furniture inside, the weather/sound strip on the front door was removed and left about a 1 inch gap, the sliding glass door to the patio was very difficult to open and close, the master shower handle was very difficult to turn, the washer and dryer were extremely slow (took almost 3 hours for a single load to complete), and no lock on the community bathroom door. Diamond Beach overall is phenomenal and we highly recommend! We will come back again for sure, but will probably get a different room as our family struggled with several of the cons above.

Beautiful condo

We really enjoyed our time at Diamond Beach. The pool was nice but not heated, and the water slide was not working. We loved reserving the theatre room for one night. There is a spa in the building, and the massage therapist was amazing! The beach was a close walk from the condo and very private. The Blue Haven was beautifully decorated and had a lot of amenities. We loved listening to the waves from the balcony. However, I think a few things should be mentioned in the listing. 1. The master bedroom and bathroom do not have a door separating them from each other. It's strange when you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or if you have multiple families sharing the space. 2. The second bathroom shower is really tall, so older people may have difficulty getting in and out. 3. There are no big baking sheets for making pizza and no pizza cutter! 4. They only give you one towel per person and no beach/pool towels.

The condo is amazing the rental company is impossible to reach, we had some minor hiccups with rental and impossible to communicate efficiently. Our chat messages they advised would be addressed within 48 hour and nobody ever responded but the following day maintenance showed up to resolve issues.
