Amenities include a wonderful living room with large flat screen TV, pull-out sofa and comfy day bed for extra sleeping, WIFI and air conditioning. Fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances, washer/dryer and cookware. Fully outfitted bathroom with towels, beach towels and toiletries. Outdoor space includes backyard with beautiful view of the Scarborough Marsh, large grill, table and chair set for outdoor dining and a new shed with beach chairs/sand toys etc. Cottage is located within walking distance to many popular local restaurants with ocean and marsh views that offer take out, inside/outside dining. Many activities (biking, kayaking, surfing rentals nearby, beautiful walking and hiking trails) plus urban dining and shopping experiences in our nearby great city of Portland, Maine - only 15 minutes away.
Come relax, just breathe, listen to the waves as you walk the 7 mile beach to Old Orchard Beach for even more places to explore and experience. Your "Blue Heaven" getaway awaits!

Charming little cottage. Great value.

Lovely, clean cottage on the marsh. Exactly as described. Easy parking and easy walk to the beach. Perfect for our family.

Location!

Great location if you love walking to the beach! Stayed with my wife and 3 kids. It’s got everything you need for a good vacation! Nadine is very kind and ready to help if needed

Quaint cottage

This property is conveniently located a very short walk from a beautiful beach that is not crowded. The pull-out couch is not a good fit for two adults, but a party of four or less or those with small kids would be a better match than five adults. Having the remote controlled air conditioners was much appreciated! We enjoyed our week ver much!

Cute cottage with great location

Everything was as advertised. Nadine and Jeff thought of everything. The cottage was actually bigger than I thought, and since this was a working vacation for me I had plenty of space for my laptop and monitor. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice big refrigerator. I also liked having the washer and dryer to do laundry so I didn't need to pack as much. The location is great. I could walk to the beach or up to the pier nearby to watch the sunrise and sunset. Very quiet neighborhood and not too much traffic. I slept well at night. Looking forward to visiting the area again!

We moved to Pine Point - Scarborough, Maine from upstate New York 33 years ago and never looked back! Raised our family here in Scarborough - enjoyed the wonderful weather in the summers at Pine Point Beach and sparkling white snow winters skiing mostly at Sugarloaf Mountain and Stowe, Vermont. Maine is such a beautiful state with so many opportunities to enjoy the ocean, the lakes, the mountains and the true "friendly" spirit here. We've made our most cherished and closest of friends here as well. As we always say - we were born in NY but "home" is truly Maine!!!
