Short, fun family weekend

The house and the property fit our family perfectly. The backyard leads down to the dock at water side and was so much fun and beautiful. The house had plenty of beds and rooms to accommodate us all. The house was clean and organized for everything we might need. Beautiful stay and would recommend to others.

Tons of surprises I don’t want to ruin but it was a great house on the water. The house was clearly well maintained inside and out. Would go back in the future.

We had such an amazing time on our summer river vacation. The owners were amazing with communication and so sweet. The only thing that was different for me was that we have rented several vrbos and I’ve never stayed at one that the owners actually live at most of the time. We came with a large family. Therefore we had a lot of food, a lot of clothes staying 5 nights. I have nothing bad to say at all, however I do feel like others should know there is nowhere to put groceries. No cabinet space. Everything goes on the counter that you buy. The fridge was completely empty and clean. There is also nowhere to unpack your clothes. The dressers are full of the home owners clothes as well as all of the bathroom cabinets. This was our only complaint. The house was great. The place was great. Like I said, nothing bad at all to say. Just a different situation for us as all other places have been empty and didn’t feel like you staying in someone’s every day home.

Spectacular View

Nancy & Paul went above & beyond to make our stay was pleasant. Their home is very welcoming, peaceful, there’s plenty of room, master bedroom has the best view, but the back yard was breathtaking. We had 7 adults & 1 toddler & we all were very comfortable. It’s close by to the supermarket & restaurants - about 10-15 min. We look forward to booking another stay there with our family. Thank you for the best hospitality!

Amazing 4th Of July

We went to celebrate the 4th of July and float the river. The house was spotless, and communication was straightforward. The home is lovely, and sitting out on the dock watching the neighbors' fireworks shows for the 4th of July was the perfect way to end our day after we floated the Guadalupe River. I would highly recommend this house.

Nice stay

The property was clean, well-maintained and we found everything we needed when making family meals. The owners provided great customer service. Everything went smooth from arrival till departure. We didn't have a single issue during our stay. The house was perfectly clean and very complete. It offered everything we needed. Location of this house is great, both for visiting parks and having the water in the back. Lots of options are within a 10-20 minutes drive. The view over the water is fantastic. We had a great time here.

We stayed three nights over the 4th and it was perfect. We had two adults and four kids (two families). This is the most unassuming little place tucked away only a few minutes from New Braunfels and Gruene. It’s incredibly well taken care off, all the essentials provided and more. Great deck, the kids swam and jumped off the upper deck on repeat all weekend. Beautiful view from the house and the master bedroom. Very communicative hosts. It really is a rare find.
