Great place to stay, enjoyed the drive there as far a scenery and the place was very cozy. Great little place to stay and get away. Highly recommend staying again and telling others.
We really enjoyed staying here. The weather was very nice. The cabin is very cozy and enough room for a few. Thank you Jennifer and Brian for sharing your beautiful place!
I’ll definitely be going back!
Was amazing all the way around. The cabin was extremely nice and even better then displayed online. The land was even better then could’ve imagined as well. Will definitely be back!
The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The owner was very responsive to questions and recommendations. The only downside was the proximity to the road where cars drive by fast and are loud at night. Overall, a very nice place to stay for a family getaway.

I apologize for the speed of cars. I have contacted state patrol and county engineer to try to get something done about it. Some people complain about it and some say it’s very peaceful. I am doing my best to get some signs to post and hoping it will help. Thanks for your stay!
house was great bed was comfortable only thing was planned on fishing as the listing mentions somewhere to fish but unable to locate on the property! otherwise was a wonderful stay and will go back!!

I will add to call number to ask for directions to fish and make that more clear! Thank you!
Geographically it's a great location! Many attractions in the surrounding areas. Upon arrival, it was immaculate. I think the owners covered every possible scenario,if you forgot something like I did with shampoo. Really appreciate the fact that they had some there. The land is great for outdoor enthusiasts! However the home is located really close to the road, it is a country road, close to a school so it is very busy.. the beds are soft and the home is inviting. Now if you're a small person, you probably don't make any noise when you roll over it in the master bedroom. Not the case for us, the bottom bunk bed does not fit the entire framework but there's a little bit of a gap but that mattress,we slept well. Would we recommend this place? Definitely!
Me and my husband stayed for the week and hunted. We saw some nice bucks, and I was able to harvest a buck off the property. It will probably go down as one of the most unbelievable hunts I’ve ever had! The cabin was super cute and clean. The owners were very nice and helpful!
Great cabin. We took the kids for the weekend. Everyone had a great time. No traffic noise at all. We had a great fire, and made s’mores. Beds very comfortable. Cabin has everything you would need for the weekend. Hosts are amazing!
Will be back!
Thank you guys

The Cabin was amazingly clean and well set up. But the discrpton of the area itself needs improved
The Cabin itself was clean and well put together. Everything we needed was there as far as cooking, and toliettries. What we didn't know was the location of the cabin was on a busy country road where cars and trucks were constantly speeding by. There is also a school close by. Sitting on the front porch or just at the fire pit was not enjoyable as we thought we were leaving home to get away from stress. The master bed was not comfortable and made noise everytime we moved.

This is the first complaint we have had about location or bed. I’ve actually had people say the bed was quite comfortable when I asked but will be addressing that and checking the bed to see if I can solve that issue. Behind the location is 90 acres of peaceful hunting land. I will be trying to see if I can put up some sort of slow sign to try to slow traffic down. It was also the first week of school which probably enhanced the traffic. I know that I had already put in the description it is conveniently close to the school and I will add a picture now showing that it is close to a country road. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for your stay.
We rented Griffi's Getaway for a weekend vacation to visit family in Ohio. In total, we had 3 adults and 4 children and the sleeping arrangements in the cabin were perfect for us. Everything was spotlessly clean and the cabin smelled brand new. Jenn and Brian bought a brand new Blackstone griddle for us to use while we stayed there, which we made bacon and eggs and pancakes on for breakfast. To top it off, and what made our stay especially awesome, is the fact that they allowed us to bring our kids' ATVs and go-carts to ride on the property. After we arrived and settled in, Brian showed us around the property and the areas and trails that we were allowed to ride on, which were many! We even went fishing in the pond, caught a couple bass, and the kids jumped in to swim. It was the perfect getaway for my family and there honestly isn't anything I would have done to change it! Thank you Griffis!!! We will be back again!!!
We jokingly explained to the owners (Jennifer Griffis and her husband, Brian), this is a very conflicting review to write…only because they have a gem here, and we selfishly don't want the secret about this place to get out! Seriously though, it is a beautiful little getaway. If you want a great place to take a quick hunting trip or have a nice mini vacation, this place checks all the boxes. We spent a few days staying at their cabin and hunting their property. We had a fun and very relaxing time. The cabin has all the amenities you'll need, and it's quaint and cozy. My better half has bow hunted in southern Ohio for the last few years, and this cabin sure beats staying in one of the local hotels/motels, which we will no longer do now that we know this cabin is available. This cabin is not for you if you are looking for posh, upscale, pretentious accommodations. But, if you want to get away, enjoy the fresh air, relax, and breathe... this place is extraordinary. And again, has everything you will need. The cabin is relatively close to the road it's built near, and I have read some reviews that didn't care for that. Maybe some would have an issue with this location, but we did not. It was no bother at all. In fact, we liked it as the random person would drive by and give a friendly wave. As for the owners, they are just salt-of-the-earth types of folks. They were generous and good-natured and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We are happy to think we have made some new friends during our visit too. While the hunting was also excellent (we saw deer every day while there), sadly, the big buck we were hunting did not come in close enough for us to get a shot. We look forward to our next visit! Thank you, Jennifer and Brian!

Thank you so much! You are such kind people! Can’t wait to have you back!
We truly loved the experience! Gorgeous cabin, gorgeously decorated.
The only thing I would suggest is that the owner opt for free Wi-Fi for the guests.
That was the only issue.
