Updated adorable Lake Hartwell home with the best views on the lake, big water views across to Anderson Island and only 15 minutes to downtown Hartwell's bars and restaurants. Bring your boat- house is close to several boat ramps.

Relax and unwind with the family at the lake. Kitchen has high end appliances and marble countertops. Open plan has views of the lake from almost every room of the main house. There is a gentle slope to a large dock with diving board with plenty of space to tie up your own boat. Main house has three bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Master is on the main with a king bed and en suite bathroom. Upstairs you will find a large bunk room with two twin over full bunk beds. Also upstairs you will find a bedroom with a queen bed and shared bathroom with the bunk room. Over the detached garage you will find another bedroom, small living, kitchenette and bathroom. This space is perfect for teenagers or a couple wanting their own space. Enjoy several outdoor deck spaces overlooking the lake or the quiet front porch. There is an outdoor fire pit for smores and stargazing on warm nights. Ideal for a family with kids, or two families traveling together!

Dogs considered on a case by case basis- please contact owner before booking. There will be a $100 non refundable fee if the dog is approved. Additional approved dogs may incur additional fees.

We are 45 minutes from Clemson by car.

Boat lifts are for owner use only, but you are welcome to tie up on either side of our dock.

Fun getaway at the lake!

This was a birthday trip for my son, he spent countless hours down at the dock! We enjoyed cooming out and making smores, the home was so beautiful and welcoming.

So peaceful!

Thank you to Ann Marie and family for sharing their beautiful lake house. It was so peaceful. We sat outside in the morning with our coffee. In the afternoon we sat outside and painted some simple artwork. We enjoyed watching the ducks and people boating. Two of us walked down to the water. The nights were quiet. The home has everything you need. It's only 15 minutes into town if you're needing anything. It was perfect.

Great Views in a comfortable home!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very nice, well equipped and has a beautiful view! The owners responded to all questions in a very timely fashion. The Beds are comfortable.plenty of beach towels. I highly recommend this home.

Lovely home and area

We enjoyed this lovely home, the peaceful location and gorgeous view from the dock. We enjoyed fishing and relaxing on the lake. We appreciate the owner’s communication as well. Unfortunately, the remnants of Hurricane Helene passed over us during our stay, and we had to cut our trip short, but we would love to rent this home again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Lake Family Vacation

Had a great time at this wonderful Lake Hartwell get away. Close to town and easy access to our boat and jet ski. Enough space for our extended family to enjoy the lake. Enjoyed all of the extra floats and toys available for use. Fishing off the dock was a lot of fun and relaxing!

Great lakefront spot

This property is spacious and comfortable, with everything you need to enjoy the weekend at the lake. Quiet spot, great for swimming and paddle boarding, and we all loved the diving board! We will definitely stay again!

Amazing Lake House!

My family and friend group had a wonderful time at this property. It was spacious, had a beautiful dock with a great view of the lake, was very comfortable, and we would absolutely stay here again! We had a lot of fun playing games that the host had in the living area, cooking on the charcoal grill, and making smores in the backyard fire fit. Great lake house!

We had an absolute blast at Lake Hartwell! This home is stunning, on deep water, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Host was extremely helpful and quick to respond. So thankful for the memories made in this awesome home and at the lake. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous house - a perfect getaway!

Annemarie’s home is 5-star all the way. From the first time I reached out to book a last minute place to stay while visiting my parents in Anderson, to questions during our stay, communication was quick, helpful and warm. We arrived in the middle of the night and it couldn’t have been easier to check in and head to our super comfortable beds. Don’t underestimate the setting of this house… a perfect spot on Lake Hartwell with gorgeous views. We felt like we were the only ones there despite having neighbors. It was the perfect balance… lots of privacy, but we didn’t feel isolated. Hartwell is a quick 15 minute drive. We didn’t take advantage of the town other than trips to Ingle’s - which was a great grocery with everything you could possibly need. From organic to the basics, beer and wine. Even some more obscure brands. The house was gorgeous. Spotlessly clean. Super comfortable from the sofa to the bed. Our family really needed a break to relax and spend time together after a really hectic winter. This was perfect. We slept in. Played games, had family movie nights. And spent a lot of time outside. We brought kayaks and went out every day. My daughter did countless flips off the docks. We grilled ate outside. And when - sadly - my husband and I had to work (boo!) the WiFi was solid and we loved being able to work on the screen porch with a beautiful view of the lake. We even brought hammocks and hung them in the trees for hammock naps. When we needed to exercise, we took our dog for long walks around the neighborhood, checking out the other houses. We quickly decided ours was by far the best! We also hiked in Tugaloo State Park, which was also a lot of fun! The purpose of our trip was to visit my parents and sister’s family. Usually we stay with my mom and dad, but for a number of reasons we couldn’t this time (mostly because of our dog - we had to bring her this trip,). We had my whole family over to hang out and have dinner. The kitchen was well equipped for our group of 11 and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room to spread out. So many great outdoor spaces. We even made s’mores in the fire pit. After dark, the kids played video games upstairs while we talked. Truly perfect! We are already talking about coming back. If my parents wouldn’t be insulted because we stopped staying with them, we would stay at this house every trip! I only wish we had had another week!

Great space for our entire family.

Location on the open water of lake hartwell is absolutely beautiful. We spent time fishing off the dock and not only caught fish, but were also consumed by the beauty of the lake. Both sunrise and sunset views are equally amazing. The house itself is laid out very nicely for a large family such as ours with master / en-suite on the main level and a large bunk room for the kids to spread out and another guest room with a full size bed upstairs. All bedrooms face the lake. The garage apt was perfect for us when we needed to take a work call and escape to a quiet place. While we did experience a few issues with the washer, the owner was responsive and the washer is working well again. Overall, a great and relaxing holiday week.

Great house and great location.

This is a great house and exactly as pictured and described. There are so many fantastic outdoor spaces to enjoy. Our 17 year old son loved the mini apartment above the garage. We also loved the town of Hartwell that was a short drive away. Finally, the host is fantastic and extremely responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful House with a Beautiful View

Wonderful house and dock. Owner very accommodating. Beds comfortable and all furnishings very nice and comfortable. Wonderful fire pit, screen porch, many outdoor areas with great seating. House has many amenities included. New appliances. You will not be disappointed, it is fantastic and we cannot wait to go back!

Loved the location. House was fantastic. View and dock outstanding. Communication from owners was almost immediate and extremely helpful. I rented this for family reunion of 3 sisters and older father and everyone loved the house. The screened in porch was so comfortable and the shaded outside deck was wonderful to sit out during the day. I would definitely return. Only suggestion for future renters is to bring storage containers and hangers.

Wonderful Lake House with Great views and Dock!

Property was located right on the lake and had great views, ample space, and comfortable livings areas throughout. Dock was wonderful with a diving board and plenty of lake toys for use in the water. House had a decent amenities but everything we needed for our stay and use which was great!

Great lake spot

Great Lake spot! Our group of 7 (grandparents, parents and kids age 3, 11 and 14) had tons of fun on the diving board and included lake toys. The view is incredible and quiet. The downtown Hartwell area was a cute afternoon trip that was a short drive away. We had some issues arise because the previous guests as well as the cleaners not doing an adequate job in all areas. The host was responsive and indicated changes would be made in the future. If that’s the case, we would stay again.
