About this property
Beautiful fall views on Lake Hartwell! Quiet cove! Everything you need to relax!
This beautiful Lake Hartwell home is located on a private lot, with deep water, in the sought-after Reed Creek area. This Jerry Turner built home has views of the lake and quality finishes throughout. The great room with fireplace is open to the dining area and kitchen with granite counters and a large island. The main level also includes a master suite and half bath. The lower level great room opens onto a lower deck just a stone's throw from the lake. The finished terrace level has a large rec room, two more bedrooms, and another full bath. You have an open view of the lake from both levels of the home. There is a concrete drive with plenty of parking and a location for boat trailer parking. The lower level deck offers additional space for outdoor entertaining and grilling. From the deck there is a short-improved walkway to the covered slip dock. The home comfortably sleeps 10-12 people (8 adults maximum) and is fitting for guests of all ages. Boat slip is occupied with the owners boat. However, if you decide to bring your own boat or rent a boat, docking it outside of the slip is not an issue.

Great house! Natalee was great-responded immediately to any questions we had. The house is laid out well and the walk to the dock was easy. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We all had a blast!
We had a great stay! Property is beautiful and quiet. Lots of fishing right off the dock. Owners were easy to communicate with. We had no issues while we were there. Our family wants to go back!
The location on the lake was nice and quiet and the cove was beyond awesome for kids to swim, fish and float. The house was squeaky clean and comfortable. We can’t wait to come back!

Thank you so much for staying. We are so happy your family enjoyed it.
This property is just what we were looking for. It has everything you need for a stay from out of town. It accommodated my entire family. My children are avid fisherman and loved being able to get up and go fishing.
Beautiful home. Beautiful property. Perfect in every way. We had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for my large family. We had the best Christmas there and loved every minute of it.
Beautiful home with amazing views of the lake from several rooms. Well designed access from the house to the dock and the lake. The kitchen was the best stocked one we have ever experienced in many stays. The upper and lower level porches are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or just hanging out. Our family had a great time and we plan to come again! The owners/ hosts were detailed and responsive with their communication before, during and after our trip.
The house was everything we needed to relax as a family. It is very well equipped for both adults and the kids. The owners were very responsive to all our questions. The lake was great, even though it was a little low due to the lack of rain. Would definitely recommend!!!
Loved the property. Lots of games for the kids, fishing equipment, plenty of entertainment options. Great communication with owner throughout process. Highly recommended.
Beautiful place and a great dock for my boat. Lots of room in the house for people to enjoy. My sister-in-law came in from San Francisco and loved the place. We will be back. Gary

Thank you for staying. We hope you will stay again.
The property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Beautifully decorated and well maintained. The family had a great time playing air hockey:). My only complaint is that the fish weren't biting.
Very laid back relaxing vacation.
Our large family needed a place to stay while visiting family on Lake Hartwell. This hidden gem provided a large home located in a quiet cove perfect for fishing and family fun. The amenities were well kept and clean with a fully stocked kitchen for family meals, plenty of spaces to relax, as well many outdoor activity options. Our favorite space was the wrap around porch and seating areas overlooking the lake. This was definitely a vacation to remember and we will be looking to stay again when we make it back to north Georgia!
Love the remote location on the lake - very quiet, felt like we had it all to ourselves. Really appreciate the lake toys provided. Well stocked kitchen is a joy. Self check-in was seamless. This is our second time renting this home with friends, won’t be the last!
A friend and I and our kids thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The house is tucked into a beautiful, quiet cove and we appreciated the privacy and stillness of the lake. There were so many ways to enjoy the water- tubes, kayaks, paddle boat- and all so fun.
The house itself provided plenty of well maintained space, a well stocked kitchen and lovely outdoor living spaces. Such a great property!
Another great summer week on the lake! This is our favorite cove and this home was perfect for our family and friends to enjoy right before the kids go back to school. We rented a boat again and spent most of the time fishing and swimming. We brought our 10 month old golden retriever too and she loved the lake. The hosts were extremely responsive and we had everything we needed during our stay. Can't wait to do it again next August!
We have stayed in so many rentals, and this was one of the best ever! It was Teen Boy Heaven - with the kayak, SUP, six floats, fishing gear, fire pit, hammock, separate space downstairs, etc. etc. The cove is nice and quiet, yet the water is deep - you can easily dive off the dock. There are wonderful outdoor spaces on every level. The house was pristine - loved all the windows that look out on to the water. Everything was clean, cozy, and relaxing. Just wonderful!

Thanks so much for staying at our lake house. We are happy the you and your family enjoyed your stay and we hope you will stay again. Thanks again

The home and location are lovely and well-maintained. It was perfect for our four generation family of nine, aged 18 months to 79 years, to celebrate our granddaughter's graduation from Clemson. Ms Small was very easy to work with and immediately sent an A/C repairman the first morning we were there. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Nancy
Very nice view of the lake Hartwell. House was well maintained. Only downside to house is no turnaround for boat trailer. Had to back boat down long driveway. House is about 45 mins from Green pond landing. I would recommend this house for anyone wanting to fish the south and west side of Lake Hartwell.

Chase, Thank you for your feedback. We do not recommend that boat trailers be pulled down the driveway. This is why there is a gravel pad to the left of the driveway toward the top. This is where we often park a trailer. Other renters have also left trailers at the top of the property with no issues. We appreciate your feedback and hope future renters will use the other space provided for their trailer.
If you're looking to get away and have a relaxing stay at the lake, this is your place. Ours was a winter stay so we took water activities off the table, but the setting is ideal and the house is so well appointed that even our teenagers enjoyed themselves. The kitchen was very well-equipped which is a major plus in remote locations. We found everything we needed to prepare meals. We also enjoyed making s'mores over the fire pit. We took a trip to visit the dam which we all enjoyed. Would suggest it to anyone able to walk a paved path for a couple of miles. Communication with the hosts throughout the stay was excellent. The basketball goal was an extra bonus we don't see often.
Perfect house on a quite cove so the boys were able to tune and ski without all the boat traffic. The house had everything we could need with two teen boys and their friends. Downstairs gave them their own “man cave” and the wonderful outdoor space was enjoyed by all. The fire pit served as our gathering space in the evenings. Don’t let the cove location fool you, there is deep water! The entire family had a fantastic time. Thanks Natalee and Chad for sharing your lively lake house with us. We will be back!

Thank you for such a wonderful review Shelia! You all were the perfect guests. We would love to host you and your family again in the future.
My family had a wonderful time at Natalee and Chad's home! The views on the lake are stunning! If you rent a boat as we did, the dock is very easy to dock your boat to. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. There is a basketball net outside, which my son loved! The gas grill is easy to use, and we ate dinner most nights outside. If there is a storm, remember to close the umbrella and secure dock chairs. We had a lovely two-week vacation!!
We had an amazing week staying here. We rented a boat from Harbor Light Marina and loved that we could use the dock to tie up to. The dock is situated in a quiet cove. The house comes with a bunch of water equipment you can use, but we brought our own stuff, so didn't really have the need for it. The lake is busy on the weekends & holidays, but M-F it's quiet. Only ever saw 2 other boats out when we were out. The house is stocked for what you may need. Owners are very responsive. Didn't have any issues with cleanliness- it all seemed very well kept. Would 100% stay here again! Next time, I would totally bring my dog!
We had a great time, the owners are great and readily available. The house was comfortable and in a great location; there was access to shopping, restaurants and site seeing. We did have some issues which may not be significant to some, but it was for us; there is no garbage service, you are responsible for packing the garbage and driving it 2 miles to the convenience center (which is open at specific times) so it can be discarded, the master bedroom has no curtains, and the bathroom and shower are small and somewhat uncomfortable. Other than that, it was great.
