Why they chose this property
Tucked away beyond the pines, situated behind National Forest, this lakefront property offers rest, relaxation and play for all who stay. This one-of-a-kind property, modeled after the luxury homes of Montana and Idaho, provides guests with an area large enough to enjoy each other's company, but with plenty of room to spread out. Sitting on the banks of Lake Sam Rayburn, guests may opt to launch jet skis (not provided) or a boat (not provided) from the nearest boat ramp (Hanks Creek/ 6 miles by road or just under a mile via water). Kayaks and canoes maybe launched from the waterfront if water levels are accommodating and boats can be parked in the protected cove joining the property. Surrounded by nature, deer, otter, racoon, and bald eagle sightings are not uncommon.
Located between the small rural towns of Huntington and Zavalla, Texas, this home is nestled approximately 10 minutes away from the nearest gas station, as well as the chain grocer, Brookshire Brothers. Be sure to gather your groceries and any supplies before arrival. Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave!
