About this property

The house comfortably sleeps up to 8 people including kids/teenagers, and 1 infant, equipped with:
1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 daybeds, 1 twin bed, 1 trundle bed, and 1 pack-n-play.

Living room: The comfy and stylish living room with a sectional, 2 accent chairs and a big Smart TV with a sound bar is perfect to relax and watch a movie after a day of fun in the sun.

Primary bedroom: This bedroom is a big in-law suite with total independence from the rest of the house, it is equipped with:
-King bed with an eco-friendly mattress (Awara mattress).
-An electric height adjustable desk so that you can get some work done.
-An ensuite bathroom.
-A kitchenette with sink, toaster oven, coffee maker, and other appliances so that you can cook simple meals.
-A small living room area with a comfy daybed that can sleep an adult, teenager, or kid.
-A smart TV.
- Private access to the backyard.

Primary bedroom 2: This bedroom has a queen bed with a comfy and eco-friendly Avocado mattress, view and access to the backyard, an ensuite bathroom, and of course a smart TV so that you can relax and binge-watch your favorite shows.

Third bedroom: With a special headboard hand made by us (your hosts) this room is our favorite, with a queen bed with mattress from Brentwood home, easy access to the third bathroom, and view and access to the backyard, anyone in your group will be happy to sleep here.

Fourth bedroom: We call this the "Dive bedroom", it is inspired by our love for diving and exploring the sea! This room is perfect for the kids in the group but works for an adult too. It is equipped with 1 daybed and 1 trundle bed.

Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen, with pots, pans, baking sheets, cupcake pan, and all the utensils you could need, you will be able to have a lot of fun cooking delicious meals with your friends or family.

Outdoor dining area: This space is perfect for enjoying lunch and dinner with your group, with a big table, a new outdoor kitchen with grill, fridge and sink to cook some delicious meals, and of course a TV so that you don't miss the game while grilling the steak.

Landscaping: No expense was spared in landscaping every inch of this home with the most beautiful and delicious tropical fruits and other edible plants. Local tropical permaculture experts curated a beautiful and inviting edible landscape like you've never seen before. Everything from bananas, pineapples, mangos, and strawberries are planted on site. Enjoy a tropical experience like never before being able to enjoy and observe these wonderful plants.

Pergola: The covered pergola is the star of this house, with 2 sofas, 2 hanging chairs, and one gas fire table. In the grass, you will find 2 chaise lounges, perfect for the tan lovers or the afternoon nappers.

Extras: We also provide beach equipment, and lots of garden games so that everyone in your party has the best time!

Best place ever!

I don't even know where to start with my review or if I will have enough space to say all the awesome things about my experience. First off, the owner was SUPER responsive no matter what time I messaged him. The house was better than expected! So beautiful and relaxing that we didn’t want to leave. I've never been in an air bnb that felt like "home." This did. Everything we thought we needed was already provided by the owners. The beautiful decor inside and out made it extremely cozy and welcoming. Literally, I can't say enough about my experience with Adam from the time of inquiry until the day I checked out. I will always book this home when visiting the Fort Lauderdale area again. Wonderful and thoughtful person - it makes all the difference!

A little back story on our journey; Kim and I have been together for over a decade and absolutely LOVE to travel! We met in 2010 and were married in 2014. Even though starting out as a young couple we couldn't afford much we always made it a priority to get out and explore our beautiful world. Kim has been a small business owner since 2009 and is an avid animal lover. She recently sold her dog boarding and grooming facility to stay at home with our two sons. She is such a wonderful mother and person with a caring and compassionate heart that shines so bright in all she does. Even with young children we've made a commitment to continue our traveling as we believe its so important for them to learn the passion of exploration and diversity!

I (Adam) am a passionate and enthusiastic professional working in the renewable energy industry. My work and our travels have taught me the importance of environmental stewardship. After all we only have one planet so preserving its natural beauty is a primary driver of mine.

We discovered vacation rentals as our chosen accommodations about 6-7 years ago and since then haven't stayed anywhere else on our travels! We love the ability to stay in a home instead of a hotel or condo in order to both have all the accommodations of home, while still enjoying privacy and peace & quiet. We loved the concept so much that we decided to buy our own place that we loved and share it with others. We trust that you'll love it to. One thing you might notice about Sage by the Sea is that we have created a space that feels more like a home than just a vacation spot. With our family growing we designed a space that both our guests and us would feel at home while visiting. We want you and your family to feel right at home in our space and will do whatever we can to give you a 5 star experience.

Why they chose this property

This property is located in a beautiful, quiet, family friendly neighborhood. As parents to two young children it was so important to us to be in a safe walkable neighborhood where we could get out and explore with the boys. Being close to the beach was a must so this property being about 5 minutes to the beach was huge! We loved the large lot so that we could plant all our favorite fruits for guests and ourselves to enjoy. We know you'll love our home as much as our family does!
