About this property

Aiolia is a newly renovated farmhouse with 4 large-scale holiday studios and other room types that you u. The facility is surrounded by olive groves and lemon trees, the wonderful blue sea can be seen in the background and reach quickly. On the roof terrace you can enjoy a wonderful panorama: the sea, the Aeolian Islands, which we always have in view, and the surrounding area near Tindari. A small swimming pool invites you to cool off, which is great fun for children, but also for adults. We have a playground for the little ones and for self-caterers a herbal spiral with fresh, typical Sicilian herbs that you are welcome to use.
The studios measure around 30 m2 and have a separate entrance. The furnishings include a double bed and a single bed (eg. Sofa bed); on request we can provide another sleeping accommodation. Cooking facilities and dining table are available. The studios all have their own bathroom. The photos are sample photos. The studios are all similar, one of them is not so elegant and has a larger bathroom, but a small kitchenette.
Aiolia belongs to the traditional family farm "Azienda Agricola Adorno dal 1909".

The Santuario di Tindari sits high above the sea on the cliffs. From Mongiove, the pilgrimage church is always in view. A serpentine road winds its way up the path - you can walk for an hour on foot. With a bike from us maybe a little faster. Buses also bring the pilgrims up several times a day. The foothills of the Nebrodi Mountains reach almost to the coast of Pattis and Mongioves. It only takes a short drive and you are in the middle of the natural park Nebrodi. The wooded mountains invite for hiking in every season. Further excursion tips are available on site.

No accès to the outside area

The place is quite small and though it was communicated that it is indeed a studio we got a reality check on what it means to have the fridge right next to your bed. That would maybe have been somehow okay though if there was the possibility of just sitting on a terrace or - and that is what made us leave after one night - the garden that is promised in the ad. Because that garden is on the other side of the road and not inviting at all to sit there at night. The communication with the host was good though and we came to an agreement. So it may still be a good choice - depending on your needs and budget - for some. But I think it should be mentioned in the description that there is no direct access to the garden.

Il suffirait de peu de choses. . Extérieur extrêmement mal entretenu, hamac déchiré en 2, terrasse avec vue mais sans aucune protection impossible s en profiter . Vélos a dispo très anciens, vaisselle rudimentaire. La personne qui ns a reçu est très agréable elle fait a mon aviss ce qu elle peut. Propriétaire réveillez vs ....

Solo la vista è bella

Non ho mai trovato un allogggio peggiore, odore di muffa, piastre a induzione parzialmente funzionanti, una posizionata sul frigorifero e tutte collegate con una unica piattina( sicurezza zero); bagno , che si apre direttamente sulla cucina , senza finistra con un buco nel muro come presa d'aria..tenda della doccia vecchia e sporca.. non continuo, ma tutto andrebbe ristrutturato.

Einfaches Quartier in Meernähe und super Strand

Die einfache Unterkunft war sauber, die Betreuung durch Antonio sehr freundlich und in ca 1km ist zu Fuß ein sehr schöner Strand zu erreichen. Leider haben wir die Leihfahrräder von den Fotos und vor allem einen Sonnenschutz auf dem Dachgarten vermisst. Wie auf den Fotos. Es gab nur Plastikstühle. Das Zimmer war ok, wenn man darüber hinwegsieht, dass Klobrille und Handtuchhalter den ersten Tag nicht überlebt haben, die Umgebung war es sicherlich auch mal, ist jetzt aber sehr vernachlässigt. Wer eine ruhige Unterkunft ohne große Ansprüche sucht, wird sicherlich sehr zufrieden sein.

Con le Eolie di fronte

La vista dalla finestra della camera e dalla magnifica terrazza comune è davvero superlativa. Le camere sono piuttosto spartane ma pulitissime e Mongiove è un'ottima base per gite ed escursioni tra mare, arte e cultura. Susanne è un'ospite squisitamente gentile ed affidabilissima

Ottima posizione a 2 minuti di macchina dalla spiaggia di Mongiove, e in 20 minuti si può raggiungere Tindari, Capo D Orlando. L appartamento è ben arredato e fornito di ogni servizio. Da consigliare.

Für alle, die abseits des Touri-Trubels entspannen möchten

Das Haus liegt am Rande eines Vororts von Patti, nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Äußerlich im ersten Moment eher unscheinbar, entpuppte es sich als beeindruckend modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit großem Bad, Klimaanlage und jeder Menge Platz. Wir waren begeistert und wussten sofort, dass wir die Zeit dort sehr genießen würden. Der Hof erstreckt sich großflächig mit einer Vielzahl an Obstbäumen, einem großen, sauberen Pool, einem kleinen Kräutergarten und Grill, sowie einer weitläufigen Dachterrasse, welche allesamt zum Spazieren und Entspannen daheim einluden. Der gesamte Hof war wunderbar gepflegt. Man sollte sich jedoch bewusst sein, dass abseits des anliegenden Strandes längere Fahrten in Kauf genommen werden müssen, wenn man weitere Aktivitäten plant - aber keine Sorge, die Autobahn ist trotz der ruhigen Lage in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen! Für uns steht schon fest, dass wir bei unserem nächsten Sizilienurlaub die Reise erneut hier starten wollen.

kleines uriges Landhaus

Mitten auf dem Land zwischen Hähnen, Hühnern und ein paar Arbeitern. Orangen und Zitronen darf man sich selbst pflücken, dazu gibt es einen kleinen Kräutergarten. Das alte Landhaus sieht man noch und auch die alten Ställe, aber es ist sehr gemütlich, einen einmalige Dachterrasse mit Blick aufs Meer und auf die Vulkaninseln. Das hatte was. Die Leute sind dort sehr nett.
