About this property

House Henschke - small holiday bungalow in a central location

Our holiday home "Henschke" is the smaller of our two holiday homes. It has a living room with TV and radio, a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed and space for another extra bed. The house with a floor area of 36 square meters is located in our lovingly designed summer garden and has a wonderful sun terrace where you can put your feet up after extensive hiking tours and prepare yourself for new challenges. Or just enjoy the peace and quiet and listen to the soft rustling of the nearby Bode with a good book.

Toller Kurzurlaub

Für uns war es toller Kurzurlaub. Tolle Lage in Schierke. Nur über die Straße und man ist an der Bode/ Elendtal. Ausstattung entspricht den Fotos. Einfach top.

Unterkunft

Unser Aufenthalt war kurz, nur vier Tage. Die Gastgeberin war sehr aufgeschlossen und nett gegenüber uns und unserem kleinen Haustier (Hund). Sie lebt alleine ine inem großen Grundstück in welchem zwei kleine Ferienhäser stehen und Ihr Wohnhaus. Die Zimmer unseres Ferienhauses waren vom ersten Blick gesehen sauber und aufgeräumt. Was das Inventar betrifft (Wasserkocher, Toaster und Kaffeemaschine) so ist es schnellstens auszutauschen oder grundlegend zu reinigen, was vom Aussehen aber sicher nicht mehr gehen wird. Auch die Fließen im Bad/Toilette sind dringend von Schimmel zu befreien. Ja wie gesagt, die Vermieterin ist mit den anstehenden Überholungen überfordert. Preis - Leistung stehen nicht im Einklang.

Im Herzen des Harz'

Der Aufenthalt bei Frau Henschke, war sehr angenehm, ruhig und unkompliziert. Von der zentralen Lage aus erreicht man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten im Harz innerhalb von 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. In Schierke selbst, sind alle Lokale und eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit fußläufig erreichbar. Der Brockenaufstieg beginnt direkt hinter der Unterkunft.

Kurzurlaub im Ostharz

Sehr idyllische Unterkunft. Wir, ein Ehepaar, 57/67, und unser Hund fanden das Häuschen passgenau für uns. Wir lieben die Ruhe, den Wald und vermeiden möglichst Trubel und Menschenmassen. Unterkunft war mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Schierke

Sehr klein und in die Jahre gekommene Unterkunft. Der Ort selbst ist auch recht klein und hat sehr steile Straßen und sehr beschränkte Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der Preis der Unterkunft ist allerdings unschlagbar und reicht zum übernachten.

Klein, aber herzlich...

Das kleine Haus bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Küche ist allerdings winzig und eignet sich eigentlich nur zum Frühstückmachen. Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr hezlich empfangen und hervorragend betreut.
