The Maison Carrée: A Wonderful Getaway in Sologne!

The square house is a charming outbuilding of 50 m², recently renovated, in the heart of the Sologne 🍂

25 minutes from Chambord, 10 km from the Loire, 1h15 from Beauval, you will be ideally located for a cultural 🏰 getaway

Nestled in the heart of the forest, you can also (and above all!) enjoy a quiet environment, in a preserved nature, lulled by the song of birds in spring 🦚 and the bellow of the deer in autumn 🦌

A real haven of peace to disconnect and recharge your batteries🌳

🏡 The house:
The house can accommodate up to 4 travellers, with its bedroom equipped with a double bed (140x190) and a sofa bed in the living room. There is also a living room, a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, mini oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge) as well as a bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Linen (towels, sheets) is provided. A washing machine is also at your disposal.

An adjoining terrace will allow you to enjoy the outdoors for a meal, a plancha or an aperitif in the sun! ☀️

Other: the accommodation has wifi and a small connected TV.

In these hot periods, we have also equipped the accommodation with two fans for your comfort.

This outbuilding is a small independent house located a few metres from a farmhouse in Sologne (in which I live). So you have access to all this outbuilding, including the car park (just for you) and the terrace (just for you too!).

Remarks:
1- Here, tap water has a naturally high iron content, which makes it not suitable for consumption. On the other hand, it is perfectly suitable for all everyday uses outside of consumption (dishes, shower). To drink and cook, bottled water is at your disposal!

2- To preserve the calm and comfort of the place, pets are unfortunately not allowed

3- As you can see in the photos, peacocks are free in the property, so don't be surprised if you hear bird calls, especially in spring, it's them!

Located close to the main attractions of the region, you enjoy an ideal location to discover the treasures of the Loire Valley. You can visit the famous castles of Chambord, Chenonceau, Cheverny or Blois, true jewels of French 🏰 heritage

Only a few kilometres away, the ZooParc de Beauval immerses you in one of the most beautiful zoos in the world, with its rare species and impressive animal 🦏 shows

Horse riding enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity of the federal equestrian park of Lamotte-Beuvron, which hosts the French 🏇 championships every year

In the heart of Sologne, you are also in the heart of an exceptional natural environment, conducive to walks in the forest, the discovery of ponds and the observation of wildlife. In the autumn, you can enjoy the unique experience of the bellowing of the deer, an impressive and unforgettable 🦌 moment
