The old half-timbered house is in the middle of the village. Here you can relax, go fishing, hiking or cycling. In the village there is a museum and a wild boar enclosure. A playground for children is in place. Dömitz is approx. 8 km away, there are restaurants, a harbor, the fortress and shops. Kaliß is located on the edge of the Mecklenburg Elbtalaue nature reserve.
