About this property
Choose from 9BRs Stratton Estate. Total Privacy, Incredible Views! Swimming Pool
Enjoy the fresh smell of wood while away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fresh clean air, Vermont woods will help you relax and forget your worries. An amazing 9 BR luxury home in the heart of Southern Vermont’s ski world, situated in the valley between Bromley and Stratton, the former you can see from the back yard! The home offers a heated pool, hot tub, game room, and sauna to compliment the nine bedrooms, six bathrooms, fast internet, and two family rooms. We also have full-estate air conditioning so your group will be perfectly comfortable even on the hottest days!
Our home offers luxury, convenience and privacy and is perfect for any season. With plenty to do both on and off the property, your entire group will love their stay! Whether you are looking for a quick drive to skiing, a relaxing place to spend that classic all-American family summer vacation, or want to be among the trees for foliage season, we have you covered.
The Space:
Nine bedrooms are nicely spread across the estate and the six bathrooms are well placed. We provide fresh linens and towels for every stay, no need to bring! Here are the details of the bedrooms:
Bedroom #1 - a master on the main floor, with an en-suite bathroom, private access to the back deck, and incredible views on Bromley. There is a gas fireplace in the room as well. King bed.
Bedroom #2 - a second master on the second floor, with an en-suite bathroom, gas fireplace, and incredible views of Bromley. King bed.
Bedroom #3 - second floor with a king bed, en-suite.
Bedroom #4 - second floor with two twin beds. A bathroom is in between this bedroom and bedroom #5
Bedroom #5 - second floor with a bunk bed, perfect for kids! Twin over queen, sleeps three.
Bedroom #6 - This is located on the second floor of the west wing of the house. Two queen beds with a private kitchen in the room! Huge windows give an incredible view of Bromley. There is a bathroom in the west wing that is in between with bedroom #7
Bedroom #7 - A king bed on the second floor of the west wing.
Bedroom #8 - Two queen beds, located on the lower level. Not a basement, the room has large windows that look out over the pool. There is a bathroom around the corner that also services bedroom #9
Bedroom #9 - A king bed on the lower level, also with a large window that overlooks the pool.
The kitchen is large with all the appliances one would expect, and is very well stocked. We have the cookware, plateware and silverware for those great home-cooked meals, or if you would like to hire a private chef.
Both the main floor and walk-out lower floor have a large family room, complete with a wood fireplace and a huge flat screen TV. The entire estate is covered by a strong wifi signal with cable internet, meaning multiple screens can be streaming or gaming without any lag!
The game room is brand-new and has a pool table, ping pong table, air hockey table, a huge flat screen TV, and bar seating. The ceiling was designed by a master carpenter and is made from 200-year-old reclaimed and restored wood. A perfect place to watch the game or relax after a day of fun!
Outdoors has a sight to behold, Bromley Mountain stands prominently in the back yard vista, while the trees wrap around the property and enclose the sides of the home. A huge deck has a great BBQ for those grilled feasts, as well as seating for those who wish to enjoy the fresh Vermont air.
The heated pool and hot tub are also in the back yard. The pool is heated from mid-June to Labor Day, plus or minus depending on weather. The hot tub is available year-round and is serviced by a professional before every stay.
The Neighborhood:
The home has complete privacy, away from the hustle and bustle of a ski resort.
Nearby the house are the valley towns of Bondville, Rawsonville and Winhall, where you can find small convenience stores to stock up on a few items, some bars and restaurants for a bit of nightlife, and small shops.
For ski and snowboarding, Stratton is a huge mountain and is less than 10 minutes away. For beginner skiers or those who like to take it easy on the slopes, Bromley is perfect for you. If you are a ski enthusiast, Magic Mountain, all the way.
If you are looking for the prime Vermont culture experience, head west on Route 30 for about fifteen minutes, which will bring you to Manchester, an amazing Vermont town that has something for everyone. There is plenty of shopping. There are outdoor stores which offer classes and experiences from learning how to fly fish to learning how to shoot like Winston Churchill to how to drive off-road. There is the Equinox Spa, which is renowned and highly rated for those who want luxurious pampering. There is the Dorset Horse Show.
For golfers, Stratton and Magic Mountain both have courses. Manchester has a private golf club.
Hikers should explore Stratton, especially those looking for a good workout. Anglers have several ponds, lakes, and rivers to choose from, the best thing to do is when you purchase your license (everyone over aged 16 is required to have one), grab the free Vermont fishing magazine which has more information than you could ever need, as well as the rules and regulations.
We have a concierge that would be more than happy to bring Vermont to you, or to schedule your adventures. They can do wine and beer tastings, private chefs, catering, grocery services, massaging and pampering, make reservations for meals, snowmobiling tours, and a whole lot more! We provide their contacts after a booking is made.
The home has a high-end vintage Sony surround sound system with speakers built into the cathedral ceilings in the main house family room. The system is from the early 2000s and does not have bluetooth or wireless connectivity, it requires a laptop or cell phone with a headphone jack to use.
Looking forward to hosting you!

About the host
Hosted by Dmitry Ulyanov
I have been a landowner in Vermont for two decades, I love the area, the weather, the climate, and the culture. A former art dealer, I am an avid outdoorsman, I enjoy fishing and mushroom picking , as you can see from my photo. I believe that short-term renting luxury homes helps keep Vermont, Vermont, by bringing tourists such as yourself to enjoy the natural beauty of the state, and helps keep the small, local economies alive and thriving. We sincerely appreciate those of you who visit our state respectfully!
Why they chose this property
This home is absolutely gorgeous, I loved it from the moment I saw it :)
What makes this property unique
The home has absolute privacy, you cannot see any neighbors, and yet, it is just minutes to the mountains, to Manchester, and to all the great stuff Southern Vermont has to offer in every season. In autumn, the foliage puts on a fantastic show! So you can go out, have a great time, and then retreat to the woods, all to yourself and your group, and enjoy the amenities the house has to offer.
