About this property

Bright and airy home in the heart of Carolina Beach with lovely outdoor areas for play, relaxation and socializing! This spacious newer home is everything you imagine a beach house to be. Large, wide covered porch has table and chairs for casual dining and entertaining as well as conversation seating. The enclosed back yard has a private pool and hot tub plus large patio area with table, chairs and loungers, and a flat grassy area for enjoyment. The parking and outdoor space this house offers is amazing!

Minimal steps to the first floor and porch make it convenient and functional for young families and multi-generational gatherings. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor.

Open dining/ living/ kitchen and 2 bedrooms on ground floor; loft area/game room and 4 bedrooms on 2nd floor. All bedrooms have attached private bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils, beverage cooler, pantry, and island. Inside dining for 12 (dining table and island bar seating).

The house is about 5-10 minute walk to the beach, with very close paid parking available if you'd rather not walk. Located on a quiet residential street it is an easy walk to most everything Carolina Beach offers.

When you are ready to explore, The Black Pearl is an easy stroll to downtown Carolina Beach and the board walk (less than 2 blocks). Carolina Beach offers restaurants, shopping, carnival rides, well known Britt's Donuts during the summer season and a vibrant night life. Fort Fisher, the Aquarium, the ferry to Southport, the State Park and Cape Fear river are all a short drive, when you are ready to explore further. The gazebo has live music and bingo in the summer months. Fishing charter boats, nightly party cruises, pontoon boats and paddle boards are available. Carolina Beach offers a greenway trail, family parks that include pickle ball court, skate park, basketball court and green space.

Within a 20 minute drive to downtown Wilmington and Front Street, museums, and more to see and do!

No Smoking and No Pets, please. Parking accommodates 5 vehicles; do not park on the grass, please. A 3 day minimum stay is required in off season; 7 day (Sunday to Sunday) stay mid June - mid August.

Perfect

My family came in for my daughter’s graduation. The house was large enough to offer plenty of space for all of us to come and go and to have our meals together. We enjoyed time by the pool, walking to local restaurants and to the beach in between our commitments. The house was one of the cleanest we have stayed in!

Guilford getaway

Our group consisted of 6 friends from college who get together every 6 months. The place was clean and comfortable and we each had our own bedroom. When we had a problem with the coffee maker our host had a prompt solution. We recommend this place.

Family Friendly

Our family of mixed ages stayed here for 5 nights and couldn’t be happier! The house was clean and in a great location. Walking distance to the boardwalk with lots of restaurants, bars, and an amazing ice cream shop! We enjoyed the home and can’t wait to book again next spring!

Amazing place for a group!

We loved our stay! The house is large, clean, and tastefully decorated. There is plenty of space and chairs to sit with a large group and hang out. The wine fridge was cooled to a lower temp, so you have more room for sodas/beers. The new hot tub is a great addition. The sheets and towels provided are so much better than the thin and scratchy ones you usually get at house rentals. My group HIGHLY recommends this house!

Very large, spacious home for family Christmas!

The house had plenty of room for my family to enjoy the Christmas holidays. We all loved that every room had its own bathroom and loved the openness of the living, dining and kitchen areas. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware, to prepare all our meals. We loved the short walk to the beach and all the cute shops and restaurants there. Kathleen answered all our questions prior to arrival and check in was easy.
