Had a great stay! The host was always quick to respond to my questions and offered a nice clean location with amazing air conditioning and other amenities. Beautiful home in Wylie close to everything. I plan to go back again.

Great place and location with few shortcomings

Easy to get anywhere from the property. Communication with the owner prior to booking was quick and easy. Place was clean and smelled nice. No odor of cigarette smoke or pets at all. I saw one beetle in the garage, but that was it for bugs - none in the home. The neighborhood initially looked like it may be a little rough, but I had no issues at all. It was nice that the home came stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, dish tabs, pretty much anything you would need (except a can opener lol) so I didn't have to rush out and buy those things or travel with them. My teenager loved the decor, especially the cute vanity fridge thing in the master and the bar stool type chair. The CONS: water in the master bathroom is not warm AT ALL. Its barely tepid water. Luckily water in the other bathroom was warmer. Could use some repairs, specifically in the master bathroom door frame but nothing that affected use of the door or anything. The grass was taller than I liked (it was to my ankles). The porch light could have been brighter - it was very dim. The bed in the master bedroom was very firm and not to my liking. My teenager loved it though. I did not reach out to the owner during my stay with my minor issues, so I did not even give then the opportunity to repair. Overall, it was a nice property, in a great location for me and I was happy to find a place that welcomed my two dogs. If I am in need of a place again, i will book with this property.

Wonderful Oasis

This property is not much to look at from the outside, but is a wonderful little oasis on the inside. My sister, brother-in-law, niece, and I all stayed here for a few days during the eclipse. We also had my two mini-schnauzers with us and it was a very full house. The property was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The backyard was fenced in allowing my dogs the ability to roam around and get a little exercise. It also would work well for anyone with kids who need a place to go outside and play. While the property is not huge, we felt very comfortable there. It was close to downtown Wylie and a very good "base camp" for getting to several different attractions in and around Dallas. Thank you for hosting us! We loved our time there!

Terrible stay

I booked a stay for a month. After taking my money they delayed my check in date by two days. I had to ask multiple times to be reimbursed. Once checked in the place reeked of cigarettes and dogs and there were ants and bugs in the sink. Two days after notifying them they sent a smoke bomb. I had to check out after only staying one night due to the cigarette odor. I am a nurse and cannot have my uniform smelling of smoke or my allergies acting up. They refused to refund my almost $4000 and I had to find another place to stay. It was a terrible experience in a terribly sketchy neighborhood.
