Welcome To Condo D1 at Pointe Santo! This is a spacious Ground Floor Unit at Pointe Santo with recent updates. Featuring a Ground Floor Lanai with easy access to the Pool and Beach, D1 is approximately a 2-4 min walk to the beach depending upon walking speed. You can enjoy the Gulf of Mexico from the lanai with picturesque views of the Gulf. With en-suite lanai access from the master bedroom, a walk out patio, and three flat screen TVs, unit D1 will be an excellent choice for your next vacation!
The Space:
Unit D1 is a two bedroom, two bath residence with a walk out lanai that faces both the Gulf of Mexico and the Pointe Santo grounds. It is located in the D building of the Pointe Santo de Sanibel community on West Gulf Drive. The sleeping arrangements are a King bed in the master bedroom, a double and a twin bed in the guest bedroom (has its own flora filled patio perfect for Yoga or meditation at Sunrise or just a little extra privacy) in addition to a non-sleeper sofa in living room for overflow guests. The residence features a well equipped kitchen outfitted with an island and all appliances guests will need while staying with us for a vacation or an extended stay. There is a dishwasher and a washer and dryer in the unit. Unit D1 also has a deeded parking space across from the Unit D1 front door entrance. We will provide a parking pass for you to display as Pointe Santo is strict about its parking guidelines. There are guest spaces available around the property if you have visitors.
Unit D1 is well cared for and furnished well for a week’s vacation or an extended time on Sanibel Island. We supply 4 beach chairs for you and shelling tools as well as some children’s toys and other beach items and lanai furniture. The shared Pool and Hot Tub area is on an island in the large pond in the center of Pointe Santo. Unit D1 is well situated to make easy use of these amenities while remaining private and quiet while in the condo or the lanai. The kitchen is well equipped with all that you would need for a week’s vacation or an extended stay. We supply both a Braun drip Coffee Maker as well as a Keurig style if you prefer that. We also stock non glass Coffee Mugs for taking to the beach with you if you’d like a beverage on the beach. Unlike most units at Pointe Santo we also have a back porch perfect for early morning relaxing or outdoor coffee. Most folks prefer the Living Room lanai with its view of the grounds and the Gulf of Mexico. There are for residents only grilling areas throughout Pointe Santo that you are free to use.
Pointe Santo also offers in-house childcare and activities in their poolside clubhouse. If you are interested in this its best to make an advanced reservation, especially during season. Kids love it as it offers craft activities appropriate for specific age groups scheduled at different times each day for a nominal fee. Children have the opportunity to make crafts, play shell bingo, have an ice cream, and learn more about Sanibel Island and its ecosystem. Children who participate in activities find the clubhouse a great way to make friends. Tennis, Pickleball, Shuffleboard, Pool, Hot Tub, grilling areas and lounge chairs on lawn near beach are available to all D1 renters.
Pointe Santo is known for its well-kept grounds, Beach and Shelling opportunities, and as a safe and secure place to stay. There is a shelling station with shell descriptions and fresh water to rinse by the beach entry. It’s a perfect vacation spot for families or couples. Most of our Guests are return renters and come back either yearly or every few years. D1 is close to hardware and grocery stores – a car ride or bike ride away. Biking is very popular on Sanibel as there are nearly 25 miles of paved bike paths on the island – and miles more unpaved in sanctuary areas.
The Unit owners live on Sanibel so are able to respond quickly if anything is needed during your stay.

Guests will enjoy access to the community pool, hot tub/spa, tennis courts, shuffleboard, clubhouse and associated activities, Grilling areas, 600 feet of Beach frontage and childcare as available ( Contact Pointe Santo about availability).
The Neighborhood:
Pointe Santo is one of the most exclusive developments on Sanibel Island and highly sought after for its amenities and first rate location. Pointe Santo is located at the foot of one of the most highly esteemed beaches on Sanibel, directly off of the South end of Tarpon Bay Road. The condo is located just minutes from "downtown" Sanibel, home to iconic establishments such as Bailey`s General Store and JN Ding Darling Wildlife Preserve (you will need a bike or a car to get to the main Preserve though the Bailey Tract is walking distance from Unit D1 and worth the time to see the wildlife).
