In the gentle mountain hills of the Vogtland, the region offers numerous opportunities for hiking, skiing and cycling, for water sports as well as spa and cultural activities.
The beach of the Pirk dam can be reached by car in 5 minutes and on foot in about 30 minutes. On the spacious lawn with a large adventure playground or on remote smaller beaches, everyone can relax at will. In season there is a snack bar with bar and occasionally open music in the evening.
The northeastern Pöhl dam (20 minutes by car) has several beaches and offers boat tours.
For children, the air shows of the falconry Herrmann in Plauen and a day trip to the fairytale and theme park Plohn (A72 departure Treuen or Reichenbach) special experiences.
Culture, music and wellness offers the southern bath triangle Bad Elster, Bad Brambach and in the Czech Republic the place Franzensbad.
In Markneukirchen, the craft of musical instrument makers has a long tradition, informed by a worth seeing museum on site.
In the northern tip city Plauen you will find numerous shops and restaurants as well as a modern swimming pool with sauna, the lace museum and the Schauwerkstatt.
The approx. 20 km distant Schöneck offers in winter family-friendly ski slopes with ski school, in summer several mountain bike runs (and the lift brings bike and biker back to the mountain). Then you relax in the water park with wave facility next door or you can go well with food and drink.
More tips are available for you in the house.
Rest and health: On request, guests can request the naturopathic treatment or advice of a non-medical practitioner / non-medical practitioner. Similarly, the implementation of a relaxing massage or foot reflexology massage on site are possible.
Please contact the landlady about your request about 2-3 weeks before your arrival to arrange an appointment (contact details below).
In the nearby Globus center (about 1 km) you will find everything for your daily needs: shopping and beverage market with snack, restaurant, bakery, pharmacy, post service and other small shops. There is also a hardware store and a gas station with car wash.
Your holiday home is the former summer house of a Plauen composer and was completely rebuilt and modernized in 2013/2014. Thereafter, the interiors and the approximately 1500 square meter garden plot with two terraces were lovingly designed. The remaining property consists of a freely accessible to the young deciduous forest (about 7000 square meters), at the edge of which there is a small playground. The driveway with chipped leads through the forest to the fortified parking with turning possibility, which offers enough space for two cars. The property is lockable.
The house offers about 62 square meters of living space. These include: the entrance area with wardrobe furniture, the living room with kitchen and sofa bed, another living / bedroom with fireplace and sofa bed, a spacious bathroom with double corner bath, walk-in shower and fireplace and a separate toilet with sink, washing machine and rack for drying clothes , A baby travel bed / high chair is available on request (contact details below).
When the weather is nice, you can easily extend your living area around the south or south. West-facing furnished terraces. An electric grill can be used.
Throughout the interior and exterior smoking, steaming (e-cigarette) and the handling of open fire are prohibited!
In the kitchen and in the living room / bedroom there is a satellite TV.
Kitchen equipment: refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, 2-fold ceramic hob, coffee maker, tea maker, kettle, toaster, mini oven, wood stove for heating, cooking and with a small oven and a radio with CD.
Dish soap, Geschirrtabs, tea towel are as well as crockery, cutlery and cookware available.
Bath + WC: Toilet paper, liquid soap, shower and hair washing and laundry detergent are available.
Fees & Service (to pay in advance as a transfer to the landlady - see rental agreement):
If required, please order bed linen, towels, firewood or your appointment with the Naturopath.
- Deposit: 200 €
- Final cleaning: 49 €
- Bed linen: 10 € / person + stay (optional)
- towels: 5 € / person + stay (optional)
- Wood is provided on request for the three stoves / fireplaces (please ask the landlord for the price).
- Appointment with the naturopath: z. B. 30 min foot reflexology massage 49 € (payment on the spot)
So if you like to approach the simple, natural life on holiday, you will find your oasis of well-being and still enjoy the pleasant comfort.
I look forward to meeting you.
