Lake Ericson Spacious Cabin

Nestled in the sandhills of Nebraska, this cabin is a great place for a quiet weekend away. The spacious living area allows ample entertaining for family & friends. The master bedroom has a king bed and an attached bathroom, the guest room has a queen bed and the bunk bedroom has 2 bunk beds that sleeps 5. There is a pack n play provided as well. The cabin comfortably sleeps 9. There is a back enclosed porch area with TV and DVDs. There is a cute loft area accessed by a ladder for children to play in. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, dishes and pots/pans. There is a gas grill available for use.
The lake is a short walk or drive away for fishing or swimming. The nearby Cedar River is a popular tanking spot with a local tanking company. Drive 2 miles into town for amazing steaks and prime rib.

Ericson trip

We didn't have to travel far for a nice quiet family getaway. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Very homey and comfortable. We loved the decor!

Sweet Cabin

It was extremely enjoyable staying here. Awesome layout with many ares for family to get together and have plenty of room to visit. Host responds very quickly and was extremely helpful with any questions. Very helpful welcome book at the cabin that was also very helpful and detailed. Check in/out very smooth. Definitely will be staying again.

Impressed with openness of kitchen, dinning, and family room. Huge island in kitchen area made it easy to provide central area for snacks and meals. Lots of amenities, full size laundry appliances, Two full bathrooms were a nice feature. Great front porch for drinking coffee early in the morning. Check in was easy and check out was easy as well. Nebraska at its best Good Life

I was looking for something for 6 adults and an infant as we spent the weekend in Ericson, Ne for a final farewell to my mother in law. This home was perfect! Host was easy to communicate with and printed home guidelines was so helpful. Beautiful home inside and plenty of outdoor sitting to enjoy. If you are looking for a place to stay with your family, this is it!

We had a fabulous weekend getaway at Buffalo Run. This cabin is beautiful, with a very cozy cabin feel. Spacious and very clean. Great for relaxing with family. We played serval board games too. My kids absolutely loved the loft area and felt so special to have a unique place to play and relax. Everything you need is available and it feels like a home away from home but with a cabin theme. Only drawback is that it is not directly on the water, but the lake is very close and within walking distance. We would definitely like to stay again and would highly recommend.

Great getaway

This was such a great cabin to stay in. It was very clean, comfortable and had just about anything you might need during your stay. The yard is roomy and great for yard games if you bring some along and the fire pit is cozy with nice chairs around it (unfortunately we got rained out). The large front porch was awesome for morning coffee! The neighbors are friendly and the lake is within walking distance. There is also a cute little playground nearby if you have smaller kiddos. An overall great experience! Would highly recommend this inviting reatreat!

Look no further--Buffalo Run is where you want to stay!

Loved every part of staying at Buffalo Run. The hosts have done an outstanding job. Such a fun little get-away and perfect spot for a weekend at the lake! Anyone who stays here will not be disappointed!
