About this property

Family Lakefront Home - 10 minutes to Burlington

Waterfront home on Lake Champlain - ten minutes from Burlington and five minutes or less to bike path, restaurants, two beaches and public park with large playground, tennis courts and more! Screen porch overlooking lake with a view of water, mountains and boats (from 6 rooms). Gently sloping lawn leads down to water. Host and family swim off the dock, but there are also two sandy beaches a five minute drive away - if that is preferred.

Open concept living area, recently upgraded "cooks" kitchen, all new windows, pocket doors and space to spread out. It is cleaned thoroughly before and after each guest - using GREEN cleaning practices.

Air conditioning and WIFI throughout. We like guests who return year after year!
Dates are blocked for 2023, but it will be available in July of that year, also.

Two large bedrooms on second floor with queen beds and plenty of space. First floor bedroom has double futon, closet, etc. Renovated lower level has extra sleeping area with double bed and TV lounging area with radiant floor heat.

Two bathrooms – one with shower/tub, one with shower.

Lake views from 6 of the rooms.
150 foot nearly new dock shared by two other homes.
Ladder and lower level for easy water access to cool off or to launch our kayaks.

Canoe and Kayaks (one double and one single), paddles, life jackets and assorted floats available. Your own paddle boards, pedal boats etc. are also welcome or are rentable at Bayside Park. Guests are NOT allowed to have MOTOR BOATS at our shared dock.

Private end of cul-de-sac location. 4 parking spaces on either side of garage.

Lovely lake house

We enjoyed our time at this lovely lake house. It was clean, updated and comfortable and the owner was extremely kind and responsive. The lake views are wonderful!

Perfect for family getaway!!!!!!

What a special getaway for our family (me, my wife, 8-year-old and 4-year-old). The property is truly a gem tucked away at the end of a short road. The house is plenty big for more than 4 people but also has a nice cozy feel to it. We hardly even used the lower finished basement level and the side living room because the screened porch, kitchen, and yard were all we needed. The screened porch was heaven with cool breezes off the water, a gorgeous view, and space for all. The yard had space for the kids to play ball and access to our own dock was such a treat. We took out the owner's kayak for rides around the bay and we caught fish right off the dock (my son's first ever!). AND the water was so clear you could see the fish you were trying to catch through the water. We also swam off the dock almost every day as well. Being July 4th week we had quite a show of fireworks from the town and neighbors. The house was prepped and ready for us across the board and Barbara was very accessible by email and text as needed as questions arose. The location was perfect, ten minutes into Burlington but felt miles away in a small quaint town with access to the grocery store and other necessities. We explored the bike causeway, went swimming at the beach down the road, and even went to Canada "for ice cream" on a whim per my son's request. Barbara's house is a no-brainer if you are looking for a retreat that gives you the option to not move a finger for a week or desire a fantastic access point for all the area offers. Don't hesitate!

We bought this wonderful place because we love to swim, bike, kayak and hike. However, we wanted to be close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, too. Also it was newly renovated and in excellent shape - we didn't want a fixer-upper!
