Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
My stay began with a demand from the property manager for more money, as she informed me that the property had been improperly listed as “out of season”. She did this a few days before my planned 6 week stay. VRBO was very helpful in resolving the dispute and getting the management to honor the contract. I did not receive check-in information until the day before arrival, adding to my travel stress. Upon arrival, the room was dirty. There were hairs in the bedding, which smelled horrible and was the lowest quality possible. The cleaning team were very professional and returned to clean the property again, even providing new bedding because of it’s condition. They commented “this place needs a deep clean”. The building has poor access to the beach even though it is on the beach. The room was tiny, even though it is listed for up to 6 people. It was barely large enough for one person.
