Our home features spacious open-plan living to enjoy time together or find a quiet nook for yourself. Sorry, no pets due to family being highly allergic. Relax on the 3 porches or take a walk to the gazebo (w/firepit), and watch out for cheeky deer wandering through! Enjoy canopy views with a book in hand or wind down in our private sauna and wellness room after exploring the mountains....

Beautiful surrounding, house covered with a canopy of trees. House has everything you could possibly need for a carefree vacation. Hostess also provides many books on hiking trails in the area. The hostess, Marilyn, was very gracious and prompt with answers.

The Highlands and its surrounding mountain range will provide most visitors with a sense of adventure in almost every direction you take. That also sums up the experience at The Canopy. Beautifully designed older home that is tucked away in the deep woods so common to this region.

The Canopy was the perfect fit for our multi-generational Spring Break. The home was immaculate and cozy. The host thought of needs we didn't know we would have.The location was convenient for day trips and outings. The best part was we could have stayed at The Canopy the whole time and enjoyed our stay just the same!

Marilyn was a fantastic host. My wife and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary here, complete with a snow storm. This was a great place to get snowed in. Very comfortable and clean. We would love to stay here again with our family next time.

The place was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have ever needed or wanted - especially the kitchen! It was relaxing and comfortable and had a lot of information about local attractions. The host was very responsive and the check out procedures were so minimal they gave us extra time with our family before we left.We would definitely go back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mountain retreat. Just a note, it is located in a neighborhood and sometimes we heard children playing, but it was sweet to actually hear kids playing outside and it still felt very secluded and private.

Everything was amazing. The checkin/checkout process was smooth and the house - so perfect! It was (among all else) comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful. The bed was comfy, blankets were top-notch, and the amenities were above and beyond. The porches were relaxing and though we didn't have enough time to enjoy the fire pit, I know that on a longer stay it would have been fantastic based on every other amenity we did enjoy! The sauna was perfect after a day of hiking (Glen Falls is close and a fantastic hike for a relaxing semi-easy hike!) and exploring the Highlands. Would 100% recommend and 100% return if lucky enough to come back to the area in the near future. We thank the host for such a wonderful home and for making our trip perfect. If you're looking to book here - do it!

The host was amazing and "Johnny on the spot." Unfortunately, the HVAC went out the day we were to arrive. But the host jumped on the problem and the house was more than warm and cozy for our stay in spite of the 17 degree temperatures. Also want to note that the house was clean, beds were comfortable, and if you plan to cook like we did, it has EVERYTHING and then some that you might need.
