Welcome to our secluded guest house on a beautiful 2.5-acre property, nestled on a serene equestrian street. As you meander through the tranquil surroundings, you'll feel a sense of calm wash over you. This is rest, a true vacation.

Our modern rustic 1 bed, 1 bath retreat is designed to cater to your needs, whether you're looking for an adventurous or a relaxing getaway. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, and the breathtaking views of the sunset are a sight to behold. You can sit by the fire and enjoy the stunning views, or you can interact with our friendly dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens.

Wake up to the sound of silence and horses grazing feet from your door. Inside, the guest house offers all the comforts of home, with soothing grays and reclaimed wood adding to the ambiance. You can relax in the cozy living area or prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen.

Whether you choose to spend your time indoors or outdoors, you'll be captivated by this newly constructed refuge. If you're looking to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this is the perfect place for you. We strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and look forward to hosting you soon.

About the Space:

HANG OUT with Goats, Chickens, Horses, Kittens & Dogs!

The guest house has its own private driveway, entrance, patio, outdoor gas fireplace, and BBQ. The guest house portion is completely private from the rest of the building where the owners work.

Feed carrots to the horses, Pick eggs from the chickens, tease, and interact with our two playful goats. Our dog will come over and greet you each morning expecting a treat. The cats are friendly and will say hello as well!

At the end of the night turn on the fire pit and relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the perfect sunset view.

We have a pack and play for those with babies or toddlers. We accept 3 guests with children under 2.

So close yet so far from Los Angeles! Many guests stay here while visiting Los Angeles - leave to the city and all the fun and come back to relax and restore!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Take out Trash before you leave - trash (black) and recycling (blue) bins are located behind BLACK animal barn by the goat fence. Trash collection is on Thursdays when bins will be on street.
Wash any dishes Shut off AC/Heat. Lock the door (remember to lift the handle up before turning the key to lock) and put the key back in lockbox & shuffle numbers.

Peaceful retreat!

If you want to be close enough to the city but feel like you are in the country, then this is the place for you. Beautiful and private, the is the perfect place for a getaway. Super clean with a comfy bed and everything you need for a short or long stay. Will definitely be returning.

A sweet ranch

The place was sweet, modern and clean. The animals were a delight. The area is perfect for hiking and getting outside, within a short distance to LA. It's best for couples though, as the place was a bit small. The owner Kevin was responsive and a pleasure to meet.

Peaceful country haven

Wonderful, enjoyable 3 night stay in June. High quality furnishings in huge space, within farm-like environs, including friendly dogs and cats. Well air conditioned which is important during the hot dry daytime. Big, well-appointed bathroom and stone-lined shower, made us feel special. Some difficulty managing the bedroom air conditioning, but we figured it out. Most highly recommend.

This place is literally a little piece of heaven. The animals greeted us warmly and gently each morning. The bedroom stays dark in the morning. And if you're a walker, this is the place. A special retreat

I honestly had no idea what to expect even with the wonderful photos of the property and amenities that were accurately displayed online. I say that because it far exceeded what I imagined. I only wish I had a novel to write or screenplay to pen because it’s the kind of place that lends itself to reflection. The quiet and pristine nature of the family farm was truly therapeutic and I’m very grateful to have had the experience of staying there. I plan on many more visits in the future.

Absolutely Perfect!

I rented this property on a recent trip to California to visit with my 4 year old granddaughter, it was the perfect location. From the moment we arrived it felt like home thanks to the lovely greeting we received from Ryder and Rocket, the family dogs. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and immaculate. To say that my granddaughter enjoyed all the animals (and trampoline) is an understatement. The owners were generous enough to leave carrots for the goats and horses, and treats for the chickens, cats and dogs. The guest house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and that's not very common in rental properties. We did not experience any issues during our stay and were sad to leave. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit.

A peaceful getaway close to LA

If you are an animal person, this is the place for you. There are dogs, cats, goats, chickens and horses that are incredibly social and like to interact. We love it because we miss our own pets. The owners provide treats and carrots to feed them. There is fresh lavender, rosemary, apricots, apples, figs and peaches growing. We had apricots with our yogurt. You are allowed to gather eggs for your breakfast--my favorite. There is a river stone shower that is spectacular. You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but in fact you are close to everything. The property is owned by a beautiful family that will interact or not interact based on your preference. We loved the outdoor area...and Gucci the black and white floof cat stole our heart. I could go on and on...

A beautiful, peaceful place

Kevin and Lori’s place is amazing. If you need a quiet, peaceful place, surrounded by nature, yet close to town, this is a great choice. The house is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It was so nice to have animals on the ranch, they are friendly and very happy for your attention. It felt like home. Amazing Farm Vibe

Everything about our stay was perfect. The studio was so classy with amazing interior features, comfortable bed, great shower, and nice great room with dining area, kitchen, and living area with flat screen TV. The patio couch with gas fire pit looks out over a beautiful horse pasture and some of the hills from the Hill Country. Our hosts were gracious and delivered on every promise of this great property.

Simply amazing! Beautiful & Serene, Owners are amazing!

Claudia and I received last minute notice of tickets to a major television show in Burbank. While we looked at vrbo's nearby Warner Brothers studios, Kevin & Lori's slice of heaven stood out as a Must Stay! Our accommodations were right out of a design television show, not only from construction but also the colors and materials, just beautiful!! Every single part of the vrbo, was excellent. The owners were available for any questions at any time, and provided easy details upon check in. Who knew that the quiet horses out back and the goats would instantly reduce any blood pressure you may have by simply offering them carrots, all while you're on your way to pick up fresh eggs from the chickens in the red barn for breakfast!! And don't forget about Ryder and Rocket, those two dogs were so gentle and welcoming. We found excellent restaurants were a short, calm drive away in Valencia or Santa Claritia, and Claudia found several opportunities for shopping at stores and boutiques too. We could end our day with a quiet walk through the quiet street nearby saying good night to the horses along the way, and then watching the sunset over the hills from our patio outside the vrbo. We have stayed at several vrbo's, but this was head and shoulders above any of those. We will always remember this get-a-way!!!! Thank you so much Kevin & Lori!!!!
