From check in to check out everything was great. The place and location were perfect and Emmanuel is a great host. We would definitely come back here for another visit to Paris.
Family of four stayed for three nights. Very convenient to metro and great access to all that Montmartre offers. Lovely music themed home. Comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. Felt safe in the neighborhood even at night. On Saturday night it was a bit loud with windows open but fine with windows closed. No problems with open windows on other nights. We all enjoyed our stay and loved the quaint and quirky Parisian home.
The apartment was just as advertised. It was so close to the metro line you could go anywhere in under an hour. If you don’t mind walking a few steep hills, access to Montmarte is a 10 to 15 minute walk. Great resturants and bars. Pigalle was not a problem for us but if you are offended by windows displaying sex toys you should only turn left onto the main drag. There was some noise from the bars and street but if you keep the windows closed it wasn’t really bad. We were there during the European football finals with France winning the final game so noise should be expected. We chose to join in and help celebrate!!I would stay here again and thin it is a really great place for 2 couples as long a one of the coples is okay with stairs. They are pictured in the VRBO listing so no surprise. We had no complaints and I must say the air conditioning was a real bonus as we had a couple of days in the high 80s.
Lovely cottage style property, nice courtyard, very secure. Is in Montmarte, so there are some stairs to climb, we had no issues. Close to a main street with shops and restaurants, great location.
The apartment is in a very convenient location! Less than a minute and you are on a main street and only 3 minute walk to the metro. The host is very quick to respond and friendly.
A music inspired home with a relaxed and comfortable style. Location is perfect for exploring Mont Martre area, and Pigalle metro just metres away. And the host Manu was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended!
Manu's place was as advertised, and in a cool neighborhood. One thing I would mention is that the neighborhood is not really conducive for smaller kids as there are many bars and see shops around. Manu was responsive and we loved his.place.
We looked very hard for our accommodation. We wanted an affordable 2BR/2BA and this met our needs. Accessing the upstairs bedroom and bathroom would be a problem for someone with mobility issues (steep stairs) but was okay for us. Even though the red light district was just around the corner, the apartment was safe and quiet. We would stay here again if available.
The flat was great for our three person family stay. The only point of caution is the area, near the Moulin Rouge, is filled with Sex shops! We had no issues with people, but did have some interesting conversations with our teenager! Overall, great place, great host and great time!
Apartment worked out perfectly for us. My husband and I were there with my cousin and his girlfriend. Was great having two full bathrooms along with the two bedrooms, and we also appreciated having a washer and dryer. Very close to the metro, so extremely convenient. And the owner couldnt have been nicer or more responsive!
This was a gem! The layout is long and thin but everyting was axxessible. Staircase is a but tight but not too bad. Friend just had knee replaced and there was NO issue. Location is near RedLight district but ABSOLUTELY felt safe and was not even a minor issue. Very close to Metro, eady to navigate. Host was anazing in trying to make sure every need was met.
We selected this property due to the value and location. I was a bit sad because other options looked so much nicer in the pics. Well, when we rolled up on our first day, I was taking pictures of how adorable the place is, inside and out. The location is perfect for walking to Sacre Couer, excellent restaurants or merchants, and a metro station. The host was very responsive and friendly, and we slept well on the comfortable beds. Thanks for helping us make great memories!

Great location, near metro. All you need in the vicinity. Super apartment, much better than the pictures show. Manu is a great host, excellent communication and help. Only disadvantage some noise from the street in the weekend from bar/ party people, worst in the bedroom near the street. But overall great value for money and will definitely be coming back.
This is a wonderful house in one of my favorite Paris neighborhoods! Everything in this apartment is tasteful and updated, with two full baths and large bedrooms. We loved the primary upstairs with the loft off of it, and the view of the cozy courtyard. Our girls appreciated their room with ensuite on the opposite side of house.
It a super quick walk to the Pigalle Metro stop, there is a Monop' (market) right down the street, and lots of fabulous spots for dining. The Bascilica Sacre Couer is a steep 15 minute walk, it's a great workout but you can also take the tram if the many, many, many steps are just too much.
We also had a special request of the owner/host, who came through for us in a big way and we were extremely grateful! Love this spot, would definitely stay again with pleasure.
Super Home Close to Sacre Coeur, Metro, Restaurants
Very nice property. We had four adults and it worked well. In the streetside bedroom there is also a loft with bed, which could accommodate two more people. The metro Pigalle is about a three-minute walk downhill. Sacre Coeur and Place du Terte are just up the hill, about a 15-minute climb. The house is great. The only negative is late evening and early morning noise from nearby bars. We did ok with the noise, but if you are a light sleeper, it would be bothersome.
I recommend the following eateries: La Marmite, Les Apotres de Pigalle, Artisan Banette Boulanger, La Cave Gourmand, and Roberta.
The host was excellent.
We stayed for 1 week at Emmanuel's place. We started communicating on WhatsApp prior to arriving at the location - I just punched his number into WhatsApp and started texting. We also got recs on a nearby boulangerie. We had a midnight check in which went smoothly. Upon checking in our group could tell that we were visiting someone's home rather than a vrbo that was just bare bones. There was a ton of personal touches and books which made us feel we were at home. There is a bar across the street which strangely was not open every night which does make noise - I would say until 1am or maybe 2am. Very little car traffic - as street is old, cobblestone, and narrow. But with the windows closed you can't really hear too much - windows open you can. Downstairs room was completely silent. Location is good - short 5 minute walk to metro. Sex shops were not much of an issue as this is only if you walk toward Moulin Rouge. We were always going towards the metro (the opposite way) so we didn't really encounter this to be an issue. Would stay again for location, square footage, and ambience.
It was a very quaint musically decorated apartment!
The things not convenient about the apartment were, no storage, no available place to store personal items in bathrooms, no open counter spaces as all were taken by objects of musical theme of apartment! When the owner is in town he works next door, so very easy to communicate with and was very attentive to our request at those times. The other 10 months since we booked the apartment he never replied to any of our questions or concerns. The entrance to the kitchen area has steps that blend into the brick flooring and not obvious to new residents, could be a dangerous problem?
Very convenient to Metro and Montmartre, the bars across the street were noisy until 2-3 am most nights. For the price a good value, just a lot of problems contacting owner when he was on tour!
Lots of space, great location for Montmartre and metro
Very charming older but updated house in a great neighborhood that allows super easy walking around Montmartre and to Sacre Coeur, and easy metro access. Two full baths with showers (we have teenage girls) was a must. Upstairs shower nice, big but had a mildew odor that wouldn’t go away. Upstairs suite doesn’t have a door but is removed as downstairs bedroom and bath is on other side of house. All the necessities. Host was amenable to moving check-in time up since we had a super early flight in and a tour booked at 5. We stashed our bags using Stasher at the Ibis hotel nearby (could walk with luggage). AC worked great, beds comfy if not special. Stairs to bedrooms suite are a little narrow; could be tough if you have mobility issues. Washer and dryer very helpful but it takes a lot longer to dry clothes in European dryers, fyi. Place had extra power converters. Closest major avenue is half a block away and very red light; sex shops and similar places everywhere with some, uh, interesting window displays. We learned that you can use the Eiffel Tower for many things. Not a huge deal for us but sensibilities differ. good little microbrew a block or two away. Overall very happy with the place and would definitely recommend.
Website difficult to navigate
Difficult to iron out problems
Apartment listed in Montmarte but confirmation arrived saying apartment in Pigalle - a TOTALLY different neighborhood
Host did not respond to queries until the week we were to arrive
VRBO in general not responsive to clients issues
