An enchanting spiral staircase leads you to the elegantly appointed and tranquil, fourth floor spacious two-bedroom and loft apartment located in the historic Marais district. Metro Hotel de Ville.

Restored fully during 2005 to retain its old-world charm, the residence features exposed beams, plaster walls, Velux windows and skylights, hand-made terra cotta floors, and hand-painted ceramic tile.

The residence is situated in one of the liveliest districts in Paris... tres chic! Yet when inside the residence, the street noise is inaudible.

The residence sleeps four comfortably. No lines for the toilet here as the toilet and shower are in separate rooms each complete with mirror and it's own sink.

You'll find all the modern conviences to which you are accustomed,, nestled inside the old-warm charm and character of the historic residence.

A la maison de Jean-Marie

We had planned to stay in Montmarte originally when we planned our trip to France but settled on Marais for its proximity to our points of Interest. This allowed us to walk to all of our destinations and we averaged 8 miles per day for our 5 day stay( a personal best for all of us!) The flat at 10 Rue Aubriot is a 4 story walk up so leg strength is a must The owner, Jean-Marie, is a wonderful host and is very helpful with restaurant suggestions and such We are already discussing our return visit! Amongst the Beams

Great central location. Local food delights are easily offset by the four flights of stairs, and joy of looking at the sky and clouds through the kitchen skylight.

this is a great place in an ideal tourist location

It would help if you know some French. We liked the stairs going 4 floors up to the room, but weaker or more lazy people could have trouble

Perfect location in Marais

If a central location is needed this is a perfect apartment. The kitchen is not ideal for large dinners, but who eats at home when there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The beds are also a bit narrow, but we still had a wonderful stay. Everything was clean and nice and that's important!

Convenient location

Excellent location, walkable access to many attractions. Close to Metro. Lots of restaurants, bakery for morning coffee and a croiscent. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We don't speak French so let them know ahead of time and they were very accommodating. Communication was no problem. Place is comfortable. Enjoyable visit.
