Newly renovated apartment in Losheim am See district Scheiden. The place is the highest place in the Saarland and offers great viewpoints. The apartment is located on the edge of the forest and is ideal for hikers and cyclists. The rock path and the Hochwaldsteig trail lead past sheaths.

In about 10 minutes you can reach the pub at the Bärenfelsweiher on foot. The Losheim reservoir is only 3 km away. There are many leisure activities such as For example: swimming, hiking, pedal boating, etc. There are also restaurants and the Losheim brewery.

By car you can reach the oldest town in Germany: Trier in about 40 minutes. The many sights and shopping opportunities are definitely worth a trip.

Hoch überm Saarland

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung der Familie Ollinger von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die großzügig angelegte und perfekt ausgestatte Wohnung ließ bei uns keine Wünsche offen. Herr und Frau Ollinger waren sehr freundliche und in allen Belangen sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ein Highlight war der große Balkon, der einen herrlichen Überblick über die Region bot. Morgens und abends hatten wir Besuch von einer Herde andalusischer Rassepferde, die nahe unseres Balkons grasten und sich tummelten. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung bietet eine Menge an Hotspots in die nähere und weiter Umgebung: Losheim am See, Saarburg, Besuch der Stadt Trier, Weltkulturerbe Völklinger Hütte, Saarschleife um nur einige zu nennen. Hält man sich an die Täler von Saale und Saar lässt es sich auch ohne E-Bike in herrlichen Landschaften Fahrrad fahren. Unser Tipp: Genießen Sie Ihren Urlaub im Saarland am besten von der Ferienwohnung der Familie Ollinger aus - im höchstgelegenen Ort des Saarlands.

Wanderungen im Saarland

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Trotzdem ein paar wenige Hinweise was besser gemacht werden kann. Für uns war das Bett etwas zu hart und die Kissen zu dünn. Wer hier, wie wir empfindlich ist sollte sich ein eigenes Kissen mitnehmen. Der Balkon ist stark renovierungsbedürftig, was laut Vermieter in naher Zukunft erledigt wird. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Wir würden immer wieder gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und wenn wir mal wieder ins Saarland fahren würden wir gerne wieder dort buchen.
