Kentucky Field Stone situated on 3+ acres of rolling Bluegrass. Calumet Spring is located on the grounds and feeds into a small duck pond that is located behind the Cottage in a nature area. 5 min to Keeneland & Downtown Lex & 15 min to KY Horse Park
The space
Two Bedrooms, One Bath with Living Room, Dining Room Full kitchen and Laundry Facilities, has additional sleeping quarters can sleeps 4 to 6 (4 beds total). See rate details for price break down per number of quests and duration of stay. The main level has all hardwood floors. The rooms are nicely furnished along with linens in typical Kentucky tradition. Has basement with Full Size Washers and Dryers furnished for our guests convenience.
The Stone Cottage is PET and KID friendly with plenty of outdoor recreational area. Pet cleaning fee is required $100.00 additional per pet. There are two main floor bedrooms that can sleep 4 people, 2 persons per bed. Additional sleeping quarters available in the basement (Up to 4 Beds Available). Basement is not finished space, has exercise equipment and washer and dryer.

The Full Kitchen includes all major appliances; Refrigerator, Stove, Dishwasher and includes microwave, coffee maker and toaster. The Kitchen furnishings also include Cooking Utensils, Dishes, Plates, Cups, Glasses, Flatware, Serving Spoons, Pots, Pans, etc. The property has fast and easy access to New Circle Road, The Kentucky Horse Park, Fasig Tipton, The Kentucky Horse Center, Rupp Arena, Lexmark, Toyota and The Lexington Convention Center. This provides an advantage to both business professionals and vacation travelers.

The actual distance to Keeneland Race Course and Keeneland Sales Pavilion is just a couple of miles. In fact, all of Lexington, including Georgetown, Versailles, Paris, Louisville and Cincinnati are easily accessible because of the convenient location and ease of access to all major roads and interstates. Day trips include: Horse Sales, Horse Racing, Horseback Riding, The Kentucky Horse Park, The Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event, Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill and local wineries or just enjoy a leisurely drive through the countryside and view our beautiful Horse Farms and the widely acclaimed Bluegrass Region.

You will find the cottages accommodations to be quite charming, the Living Room has ample seating as well as a work desk and digital TV. The Dining Area is just off the Living Area and offers a separate dining and / or work space. The Dining Room is spacious and provides a comfortable place for meetings or planning and also offers a place for our guests to come together for meals. The amenities are for your convenience. The fully functional Country Kitchen is furnished with all the standard appliances. There is a full bath located on the main floor. There are ceiling fans in many of the rooms and closets in all Bedrooms. This charming dwelling makes for a perfect vacation getaway. Note: Tax rate is .0706%, until reservations are confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
Guest access
There is approximately 1,000 square feet on the main level with full bath, living room, dining room, two bedrooms and full kitchen. The Stone Cottage has private basement space that is approximately 950 square feet with additional sleeping quarters, full sized washer and dryer and exercise bike furnished. The Stone Cottage is a duplex style town home. This rental unit is completely private and separate from the other side of the dwelling. Guests will have there own private patio with both gas and charcoal grills and also a fire pit is available for outdoor enjoyment. Guests have full access to the entire property which is 3 plus acres.

Excellent Location for Horse Country
We stayed here as base to visit numerous farms in horse country. The location is perfect, a central point for visits out to Paris and Versailles. The property is on a suburban road but has a cozy secluded feel tucked back behind some trees. It's one side of a duplex but the other side appeared unoccupied, and it was very quiet. The cottage itself is rather dated, and needs more lighting, but it's cute and the a/c worked wonderfully through a hot week. Getting access was easy and Mark was helpful with suggestions on places to go eat while we were communicating before our stay. We didn't have any issues while we were there but had numerous ways to get in touch with him. Overall, it isn't fancy but served our purpose just fine.

Cute cottage on a nice property
Cute cottage on a nice property, a/c is great. Has everything needed. Is pretty dated, but in a cute way, just be prepared for that. Beds are not very comfortable, so we got some egg crate bed toppers and that made it much better. The basement is a unfinished as the listing states, but is a bit creepy for the kids to stay down there so they ended up sleeping upstairs on the couch. It's a great place to stay with dogs, since the property is huge with a cute little pond. The trees on the property are awesome and light up with fireflies which is cool if your not from the south and don't get to see that very often. It is a duplex, but we never heard a peep out of the people next door who were also in town for the same horse show.
