Brilliant place for a couple to stay. Clean and good in every way. The stone building provides great heat insulation. The outside temperature during our stay was in the 40’s C. Inside we used minimal AC. The cottage stayed very comfortably cool.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Penola is a beautiful village and great base for exploring the region. And Sarah's Cottage is a lovingly preserved part of its history, artfully presented. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door and see a vase of flowers freshly picked from the garden.
