Brilliant place for a couple to stay. Clean and good in every way.
The stone building provides great heat insulation. The outside temperature during our stay was in the 40’s C. Inside we used minimal AC. The cottage stayed very comfortably cool.
A very quaint, well appointed cottage with all the amenities needed for a nice relaxing few days in the Coonawarra. Well worth a stay!

Sarah's cottage was an absolute treasure!
Beautiful home with lots of little personal touches throughout each room.

The property was very well presented, quirky and inviting. It contained everything that we needed. Love the open fire. It’s well situated - quiet but close to the main Centre - and we loved our stay.

Penola is a beautiful village and great base for exploring the region. And Sarah's Cottage is a lovingly preserved part of its history, artfully presented. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door and see a vase of flowers freshly picked from the garden.
