Awesome house and location

We had a great time doing our stay. We loved the architecture style and its unique features. The home accommodated our group size perfectly. Walk from the house to the beach was easy and we had plenty of room and privacy at this area of the beach. Shells and sand dollars were abundant and we even saw some marine life. Host was very informative, responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

The location to the beach was the best part of staying at the house.

The house itself is interesting as it is old and has had many additions over the years. The water line broke the first night we were there so the whole experience was a patchwork of trying to make the situation work for us. The host didn’t grasp how much money we saved her and the house from being destroyed by finding and then cutting off the water line at one o’clock in the morning. It was a hassle but we got through it with another host owned property across the street. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed being together despite the hiccups.

Family Vacation

We stayed at this location for a family vacation. The weather could not have been more perfect! The house was very clean upon arrival, with beach towels ready to go at the back door. The beach was fabulous! Lots of people walking the beach, but lots of space to set up for the day. Beach chairs and toys were provided at the house which was a nice bonus. My kids used the boogie boards just about every day. We even saw dolphins during one of our days out there. Traffic in and out of the area was terrible some days - popular area + spring break - only so much you can do about that. Host was very responsive to text messages. We needed the code for the key when we arrived after a long day of travel. Got it immediately upon saying we had arrived. Overall this was a great place to stay and the convenience of being able to make meals and spread out a bit at the end of the day was great. We never missed a sunset :)

More of a Home not a Rental

The past reviews are pretty much accurate. This home is a much older home with no updates to the design. It was a cabana turned into a place of residence. Several corkie design features not normal to a rental home. Beds were very comforable. Living room and large eating table was great. Comfortable couches for everyone to relax on and day bed for kids to sleep on or hang out. Lots of windows to see the outside dune area and plenty of sunlight. Although this house is beachfront. There is no clear view of the water or the beach from the house, the dune area is quiet a long, very soft sandy, catcus walk to get to the beach. This was one of our biggest disappointment in the rental. Once you finally get to the beach it is very beautiful and very, very private. The bathrooms, toliets, shower stalls, and sinks need much updating. The lack of updates gives you a feeling of the bathrooms feeling dingy. This is a family home and not so much a rental property style home.

CLEARWATER BEACH, FL is a town that the only purpose is to have FUN! The beach has been ranked #ONE Best City Beach and connects to CALADESI ISLAND STATE PARK which was ranked #ONE Best Beach in America, 2008. The beach houses sit in a quiet, residential neighborhood which is between these two amazing places--you get all the 'action' and the 'beauty of a natural environment.' The Gulf of Mexico has beautiful clear water, gentle surf, gradual sloping bottom and the beach is wide with silky-soft white sand. There is a bench on the beach which says it all, 'HEAVEN ON EARTH' and I couldn't agree more!

Our dream was to own a home at the beach. It was our lucky day when we bought this one at the best beach in America! All you could ask for--comfort, relaxation, fun, nature. Come enjoy it with your family!
