We enjoyed the Little Nest. Perfect for four adults (with room for more). Easy walk into Kenmare for restaurants, pubs and history, plus easy access to a day or two spent exploring the Ring of Kerry. House is well appointed, equipped kitchen, very clean, laundry, parking out front and a nice quiet neighborhood.
Easy walk into beautiful Kenmare, where there are great restaurants and pubs. Very quiet location with easy self check in and check out. Very comfortable beds as well!
We loved Kenmare! This house was incredibly convenient to the heart of town, and was tidy and had everything we could need. Our host was great at communicating, and had terrific suggestions for food and coffee. Highly recommend this spot!

Could not have asked for a better location to stay. We walked into town for everything and had a clean quiet place to return every night.
The house was exactly what we wanted for our stay in Kenmare - comfortable and great location with just a short walk to town. It was a great central point to all our vacation destinations in Kerry and Cork.

We loved everything about this place: a lovely walk to town, a nice back yard, spacious bed and living room areas. Verrrry comfortable. And Kenmare is a big small town with great live trad music pubs!

This is a great spot for a visit to Kenmare and the surrounding area, including Killarney National Park. The home is clean, cozy and well located, within a short walk to the town center along a well-lit sidewalk and path in a residential area. Parking right outside the house is a real bonus!

Why they chose this property
The house is in a quiet, friendly residential area. It’s peaceful and perfect for relaxing after a day out yet just a short walk from the lively town centre with shops, pubs and restaurants close by.
Getting around is easy. The house is just a 10 minute walk (850m) from the town centre. A convenience store is 5 minutes away on foot (450m) and three local supermarkets are just a 2 minute drive, perfect if you fancy staying in and cooking.
You’ll be perfectly placed to explore all that Kenmare has to offer. Here are some of my favourite things to do, plus a few extra ideas:
Kenmare Bay is stunning, especially in the early morning light, well worth an early walk. For the more adventurous, you can scuba dive or take a boat tour to see the local seal colony.
A visit to a traditional Irish farm is great for families. Walk among the animals, learn about the Irish Potato Famine, watch a bread making demo and get a feel for rural Irish life.
Kenmare itself is a colourful and charming town. Take time to wander the streets, pop into a traditional pub for a hearty meal and soak up the atmosphere. If you're here on a Wednesday don’t miss the Kenmare Farmers Market, it’s full of local produce, handmade crafts and souvenirs.
The house is right on the Kerry Way, ideal for walkers and those planning to drive the Ring of Kerry. The scenic 200km route takes you through Killarney National Park and along breathtaking coastal roads. It takes around 4 hours to drive, longer if you stop (which you should!). Tip: Tour buses travel counterclockwise so go clockwise to avoid getting stuck behind them and set off before 9am to beat the traffic.
You can also explore the Ring of Beara. Head out of Kenmare on the N71 towards Glengarriff, crossing the suspension bridge. The 128km route includes highlights like the Healy Pass, Castletownbere, Dursey Island and the colourful villages of Allihies, Eyeries and Ardgroom.
