About this property

Trails Head Cabin

Welcome to Trails Head Cabin! Located on a quiet dead end road, this cabin sits at the head of the Neversink River Unique Area and offers activities such as hiking, fishing and hunting. My wife and I have fully renovated the inside of the cabin, and have begun to update the exterior. A five minute drive to Resorts World Casino and Holiday Mountain Ski and Fun Park. A twenty-five minute drive to Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (sight of the 1969 Woodstock Festival). See you soon!

Other things to note:
Please respect our non-smoking policy. Absolutely NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the cabin. A $200 charge will be applied if you do smoke inside to cover the additional cleaning costs.
No Drugs or illegal activity. No Smoking or vaping. No incense or candles.

We always like our guests to know ahead of time that there is mild to moderate vehicle and foot traffic near the hiking trails during the day. As this location has become more and more popular, the individuals who come to hike, bike, fish, hunt, etc. are required to parallel park their cars on the opposite side of the road. However, our property is private and clearly posted, and may only be used by our guests.

The cell phone service is very weak when you first arrive at the cabin however, once you are connected to the Wi-Fi you should have capability to call and text.

Please note this is a very old cabin, and while there is an efficent mini split unit to heat the space during the winter months, it does not heat like that of an apartment or new construction home (expect a comfortable 70 degrees).

NOTE: Any early check-in or late check-out requests are not guaranteed and may not always be available. Please be advised these requests, if available, require an extra fee of $20 per hour.

A very warm and inviting home for a getaway close by to NYC. The space accommodates up to 4 comfortably with a furry companion. It’s very clean, stocked with any cook and diningware you need as long as you buy enough food, and has fantastic amenities.We used the fire pit out back, which was a great time to just sit, get warm, and talk all night. The porch has plenty of seating to enjoy some fresh air on a rainy day. Most importantly for us, we were able to walk right up to the start of the trail, the Neversink River Unique Area. Not the easiest trail to complete but well worth the effort to see as much as you can on it.Thank you for sharing your home with us, exactly what we were looking for.

This property was just what we needed for our trip. It was secluded and so quiet. Our family enjoyed the decor and cozy feel! It was close to bethel wood where we attended a concert. This property has been in my husband's family for generations, and we are very thankful to have been able to purchase this property in 2020. While we are slowly working to improve the property, it is very special to us, as my husband grew up here with memories that can never be replaced. We are eager to share this beautiful piece of land with people who truly appreciate and enjoy being in nature and creating memories with family and friends.
