Features original hardwood floors, doors, hardware and even original clawfoot tub along with updated modern kitchen and bathrooms. You'll love the elegant dining room that features 1920's inspired wallpaper from Anthropology design.

Take a step back in time--this home stood during so many historical events of the past 100 hundred years. These walls speak to me of times gone by......sitting on the front porch you can almost imagine the milk truck drive by, the newspaper boy riding by to deliver the daily news. Sitting in the dining room, you can almost hear the conversations of over 100 years of history. Enjoy the view from the upstairs living room, where you can almost imagine a horse drawn carriage drive by. Sit in the clawfoot tub with a good book and your favorite beverage. Bluebird bungalow is all about slowing time down and appreciating the finer things in life. Welcome to my home, where time stands still and memories are made.

So many lovely areas to relax in--a main floor TV room, seating area, upstairs media and game room (complete with one-of-a-kind metal games affixed to the wall). Outdoor entertainment areas include a dreamy front porch with porch swing and wicker furniture and a backyard pergola dining area.

Three themed bedrooms on the main floor. "If the shoe fits" is a nod to the fab ruby slippers in the famed Wizard of Oz movie and features a queen bed and smart TV. "You are my Sunshine" and "The Aviator" are adjoining rooms with one Queen in the Sunflower Bedroom and a Full bed in the Aviator room. Main floor tub/shower combo bathroom. Upstairs features an original clawfoot tub bathroom, a spacious bedroom themed "Once upon a Star" with a Queen bedroom and blackout cellular blinds. The owner is prompt to respond and we enjoyed staying in a beautifully remodeled, historic home. The hot water was incredible. Well stocked with extra items, we never lacked for anything.

Excellent home and communication with owner was great. It really is a charming area close to downtown. I appreciate the chance to grill so my only suggestion would be to upgrade to a gas grill, but we are splitting some fine hairs with that feedback. Overall excellent stay.

This host was so thoughtful in how this house was set up and stocked with essentials. The house was decorated very simple but so beautiful. We had the best time there with family. Neighborhood was quiet, and neighbors were friendly! Highly recommend, and we stay at a lot of Vrbos.

Big beautiful home in Riverside

We met up with family for Christmas and needed a place large enough to accommodate the 9 of us plus host Christmas dinner with my parents. It fit the bill. The kitchen had mostly what we needed to prepare meals which was nice although the layout for prep was challenging for more than one person. The beds and couches were comfy and the finishings beautiful. The original floors and woodwork let you know you were in an old home which was lovely.The only negative were the fees which were over 600 for a four night stay so it ended up being very expensive. It was worth the cost to have the entire family together.

Pros: fantastic location, heart of the city, close to attractionsquiet neighborhood, except for a rooster and a puppy in the house across :-). House was clean. Old house, wooden floor can make creaky sounds but decent house. Cons: - host won't give check in instructions (code for the back door lock) till 4 pm of arrival (be forewarned on this low trust situation). -never stayed in any rental where the host suggested we should kitchen garbage bags!-no garage, you park in the drive way and climb a few stairs to the back door.

We absolutely loved this place! The layout is spacious yet cozy, and all the bedrooms are creatively themed. The remodel of this home retained its historic charm. And the front porch is the best!! We sat out there for hours and visited. We couldn't have found a better location.

Great space for a group of friends

We stayed here as a group of friends, including couples and solo travelers, while in town for a wedding. It was fantastic for everyone to have their own room and there was plenty of comfortable common space to hang out. The property was clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was as described. Another great stay in this perfect location for my sisters and mom. Spent Halloween there- it was fun to see the trick or treaters in their cute costumes. So glad we had a bunch of candy- even though we ran out of 4 bags of candy. I’ll know better next time! Our hosts are amazing!

Perfect Place to Connect

This home is just as charming as it looks! It has been very thoughtfully remodeled, so it is super comfy and easy to live in, while retaining it's vintage appeal.
