This is the ultimate getaway spot! Loved being here, felt like home. Has everything we needed, except… We did bring a lot of food with us that we could not find there, come prepared with food if you like to cook or eat clean/organic. Thank you for offering this place to stay! Amazing!!

Loved our stay

Our family stayed 3 nights and loved how clean and spacious the house is. We had 5 adults and it was super comfortable. We drove to the redwoods and visited surrounding towns for dinner and drinks!

Ours was a one-night stay to access the Avenue of the Giants. The location was good for that. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property was secure, behind a gate. I liked having an extra half-bath and laundry onsite.However, I don't think I would stay again due to one bed that squeaked badly, no air conditioning (it was quite warm upstairs, and opening the windows brought in constant traffic noise on Highway 101 below; I resorted to the provided electric fan, which only helped a bit), and the upstairs bath with a difficult-to-access bath/shower combo (narrow and high) and no adequate surface to put toiletries. I expected more at this price point.

Fall getaway

Really enjoyed our stay and found that the unit lived up to its’ listing. Close to everything yet far enough away for the privacy and views you want. Would highly recommend staying here and the goats, horse and dog are an added bonus!
